Wow, he's all legs, ears, and tail!
You know, I'd never seen a baby Bassett hound until now.
So adorable!
WOW! I can't imagine having a bear that big! To me, my 27" sheepskin bear (last year's birthday gift) is huge! But I really love his paws and tongue.
How big are real pandas?
I want that job!
What a handsome guy! He's so big, he might have been intended as a "hassock," you know, one of those giant animals for kids to sit on while they watch TV. I've seen all kinds of vintage patterns for them on ebay. Just a thought....
Somebody sure looks pleased with himself!
I find myself in need of another microwaveable bear.
I still have one, but he's pretty small and not very fat. But I have plenty of buckwheat hulls and fake fur, so I was going to make my own. Is there any particular content in the fabric that I should avoid? I'm scared that the fur will melt in the microwave if I use the wrong kind. I also have some brushed twill fabric that I could use if that would be better. What do you guys think?
I love his nose!
@Litwit- in fact the dark bear just between the big polar bear (Tundra) and the fat speckled grey bear on the left (Greylord) is Blackbeard....do you have one of your own?
No. I saw a picture of him on Worthpoint or a similar site, and have been hunting for him ever since! I love the shape of him, especially his arms and paws. The only Gunds that I have at the moment are a big Bialosky and an old Kohl's grizzly (the one with the claws).
He's beautiful! Best of luck finding him a new home!
They're gorgeous! So full of character! Do you have Blackbeard?
I especially like the two portley ones in the front.
It's Babar!
I've always loved the shape of anteaters, for some reason.
I really love his tailcoat. Priceless!
I love orange cats!
A really BIG, good-condition, humpbacked, lng-armed Steiff, and THIS fellow, from the Gund Signature Collection:
How original! I love the pink nose.
Congratulations on your marrige!
So funny!
Oh, man, what a hassle. I received the wrong fabric from them once, and they said: "Oh, that's the fabric that we have now. We don't have the old fabric anymore." The "old fabric" was the brown and white speckled mongolian fur, and the "new fabric," while also brown and white, had HUGE alternating stripes all the way across the fabric!
I decided not to send it back, once they said that the "old fabric" wasn't available, but I still have no idea what to do with it.
The panda's mothers are having a girls night out, so I'll be looking after these babies. :D
Well, I'm glad to know that they're in good hands.
I'm so jealous. I've dreamed about finding a Steiff at a garage sale or thrift store, but no luck yet.
Not to rain on the parade, but where are those pandas' mothers?!
Oh, I recognize that JCPenney Gund! And that Ideal reproduction! And a little Bialosky, too (I have his larger counterpart).
I loe seeing other people's collections.
"Let's go for a walk!" Couldn't resist.
I honestly don't think that I've ever seen such a small puppy! So cute!
