Whew, good to know I can open the dolls. They're too cute to leave in the packages. I need to go look around Target or Linens 'n Things and find a little display shelf for them.

I thought the Witch of the East was a weird choice, too. Give me a flying monkey any day. :)

Cheers!
Mindy

I get excited when Micky D's does this promotion, the whole series is so cute, they have discovered a way to combine my favorite things :
Shop/collect little dolls/EAT   all in one little box , now if they could just stuff Johnny Depp or Colin Firth in that box I could die a happy woman bear_grin

Oh Mindy, I wanted to say that my two latest editions to my collection were both bears that I saw in advertisements in the most recent issue of  TB and F.  I was thrilled to be able to get them both.  One was from England the other Canada. bear_thumb

Jodi, you crack me up!  Johnny Dep in a Happy Meal bag!!  They do have some neat toys at times...but not quite that nice!

I have no idea how many I have.  Most of them are not high quality b/c I've been collecting since I was little.  But I have gotten a lot more artist bears since I've joined TT (although not enough  bear_grin ).  For artists, I have Catherine (Bumpkin), Daphne (Back Road), Carolyn (Draffin) Marie (Kiprie), Lisa (Oz Matilda), Sandy Dineen, Sue Coe, Koto Bears, and more I can't think of right now.  For manufacturers, I have Steiff, Merrythought, Deans, Boyds, Hermann, Muffy, etc.   I buy what I like.  Unfortunately, my list of bears I want is bigger than my collection.   bear_sad

Wow, 42 bears on your bed, Judi!  In addition to your bears, do you have any cows (besides the real ones on your farm)?

Yes Chrissie, I do have a cow that I made from mohair.  She is quite large.  Over 3 feet.  I made her from mohair and gave her glass deer eyes and mohair eyelashes.  I designed and made her dress.  I just cut everything to fit her with out a pattern.....I winged it.  Her hooves are ultra seued and airbrushed.  I made her chair too.Cow_01-1.jpg

She wears  the pearl necklace and earrings that I wore for my wedding along with a blue sapphire Titanic replica necklace.

I wish I had a better photo of her.  She sits high up on a plnt shelf over looking our dining room.

I made tis cow before ever making a mohair bear.  I did make another cow much smaller that I gave to my sister.  It was lost in the fire along with my sister.

I haven't counted the bears in my collection lately, but it's gotta almost be 300 by now as it was 200 a couple years ago.  I have 13 Steiff Bears including mini's, club pieces and replicas.  I also have many artist bears : 11 from Cheryl Ross of Cherbears, 3 Winey Bears by Sally Winey, 2 Sleepy Hollow Bears by Anja McGowan, and one bear from Susan Lauhon, Susan Redstreake Geary, Deborah Stewart, Sue Ann Holcomb, Donna Lee Wilson and a few unknown artist bears.  I have manufactured bears from Deans of England, Grisly of Germany, Bear Essentials by Effanbee, MANY MANY from Boyd's (Plush, Mohair, Resin), Gund, Russ Berrie, and about 150-175 bears from TY's line of Beanie Babies, Attic Treasures, Classic.  I also have an OLD Wendy Boston Basil Brush Fox from the 1950's.  I have many others that I can't list due to time constrants as well...LoL

You don't have one bear, I feel bad for you that you didn't even get to know if they got the bear.  :(

Thank you! I NEED to let it go, but you know.

Hahahahahah @ pirate flag - well I saw it in the choices so how could I possibly choose anything else??

Kim if I know nothing else about you , that fact that you picked the pirate flag leads me to believe we would get along really well.
I had a whippet once and your art work with them in it, is just amazing and of course I love the mice pictures too.  I love the Toad picture you have on now ebay right now (everyone go check it out it's Item number: 20004610350),  I live in a very wooden area and I have tree frogs and toads all over the place , they are so cool they are nature's pest control.  Please tell me you love Harry Potter or the movie Willow and I know we could be best friends.
Hugs
