Lisa - I do follow your reasoning, but I think you are making it too difficult and complex. The text btw is a sentence: 'Finished files are the result of years of scientific study combined with the experience of years.....' Ok, the sentence doesn't end and it doesn't make much sense. I have seen this kind of question before and it was to show how our brain reads over some small words without noticing, which is a lot more interesting than trying to trick people into discussions on what makes a sentence or a word.

BRONWEN relieve us of this pain

Acipenser

Well it says "Count every F in the following text:".

Acipenser

There are six letters 'f', but on the first count most of us overlook the 'f' in 'of' and thus count only three. Right Bronwen?

Acipenser

Ooohh Wendy, more of your wonderful roos. I like them both, but my favourite is my Wanda  bear_wub

Daphne dear, I am so happy you got something to be proud of and bring some sunshine into your life. You deserve it, believe me, your bears are lovely and I admire what you have accomplished. I hope, things will get better for you soon.
Lots of

Aww, thank you guys  I do think she needs shorter arms though. Are we ever happy with our creations?  bear_grin

Tania

Tania, there are very few female psychopath killers, so at least your daughter will be unique
Sorry, I'm sure she is a very nice little girl, just smarter than everybody else.  bear_original

I got it wrong, phew and hubby got it wrong too (wiping brows). I'm still safe in my home

Now what if we all get called in to some routine psych evaluation and we all get it right, because we know it already. I can see the headline "TEDDY BEAR ARTISTS ARE INSANE KILLERS"

Welcome back Penny! Well, the biggest thing that happened while you were away was that George moved in with me since he felt abandoned by you

I finally finished my very first own anime sewing design. So far I had only been crocheting them and I made one from a pattern by Brys Bruins, but I wanted to create my own. So here is Suzy. I am not fully satisfied with the pattern yet, but just a few modifications and I'll be there (I hope).

Daphne - I thought the first was German and the second Swedish.

Dilu - I don't know why you had bad experiences with the German health care system. It is still much better than the Swedish one and the Swedish system appears to resemble the Bristish, with long waiting lists. All these systems are tax financed and cost a lot that way, but at least we get what we need (eventually) and people without a job get treated equally.
Swedes have made a habit of going to Germany for treatment, because its a lot faster, more efficient and you get a whole package, while in Sweden people are sent home as soon as possible, regardless of whether they have any help or not. Actually in Sweden, older people and those with chronic problems are taken care of much better than those who have an occasional problem. It takes time to get into the system, but once you are established, the system rolls on of its own accord.
Competing with Dilu on the coloring here  bear_tongue Oops, almost chose white text. Didn't know we have secret ink

Aww Kim, I feel with you. Vertigo is no fun. I swear I got rid of mine by eating vitamin B12, although my doc doesn't really believe me. You really should have a CT scan to make sure your head and neck are ok. I did and found out that my nerves get pinched in my neck, because of a narrow spinal canal. Fortunately, we still get these exams from our tax-funded health insurance.
Hope the treatment helps despite the side effects. Take care

Acipenser

Sheila, speedy recovery and don't overdo it. I hope all goes well and you are back in your basement soon.

They have grown on me. From a 'what the heck is that?' to 'how adorable'  bear_grin
I do them mostly in crochet, but have just designed my first anime sewing pattern. No pic yet, sorry. But here is one I made from a pattern by Brys Bruins.

Good luck Sophie! I'll try to chat with you.

Another word for nematodes is roundworms. If anyone wants to know more, here's a link to the museum I work at http://tinyurl.com/qa8gz (taking every opportunity to promote the museum  bear_rolleyes    )

Cool! Slim chances that I'll met a tter in the flesh, although Sophie and I have loose plans for the future.

Kassie - Tammy is on the right. How I know? I hovered my mouse cursor over her avatar until her pic showed up.  bear_tongue

So sorry Penny.   bear_cry
I recommend taking copies of every important file at least on CDs or better on a second harddisk. I do it once a week, but that totally depends on how much work you are prepared to lose. There are good programs that can do that automatically for you so you won't forget. Even free programs are available and usually do a satisfying job.

Hope you'll be up and running again soon. It sure is disturbing how we have come to depend on computers.  bear_grin  bear_grin

Hi Luann,
you could make two side body patterns with a wide opening in the front edge. Make the front edge a concave line, going backwards from top and bottom, perhaps as far as half the width of your body pattern. Then you could sew the tie piece into the hole that is the belly of the bear. I am thinking of an inset tummy in a single piece, set into the body after sewing the side pieces together in the top, bottom and back (except for stuffing opening). Normally I would sew a different colour piece to each side piece, but you could use a single piece, which you sew into both pieces at once. Do I make any sense?  bear_wacko
