I have just made my 1st creation with faux fur. It was really good quality and I just love it! I'm soo hooked now. It's very soft and very think and like Krista says, it's sculpts beautifully.
Also, sounds like you should report that seller. They can't sell you something that is different than the item description
YAY! I'm soo glad. IT's amazing how much we can love our critters.
What a bummer, when it rains it really pours.

I'm a little late on this one, but what works for me everytime is I take a deep breath, as deep as I can go. Almost until it hurts.
I then hold this breath for as long as I can, and by the time I blow out my hiccups are done.
This has been alot of fun to read though.
Awww, poor thing. I'm sure everything will be okay and she'll be back running around before you know it.
It is sad and quiet without our pets though for sure
REPORT THEM!!!!!!!!
Don't even think about not doing it. You're in the right here not the seller. I think you'll win this one, as if she checked, she's just trying to scare you. Save those emails and report her!
How horrible! I'm soo sorry Jane.
Bobbie, I use this stuff alot so I should be able to answer your questions.
It will dry pretty darn clear but more shiney on one side. I don't think you can impress texture once it's baked, it's pretty solid then. But you could bake it on the sandpaper and get your texture that way.
You can also add things like glitter or whatever before it's baked.
Love the pics!
Wish I had a picture of my bunny, I miss her and can't find any pictures.
Here are a few of my pets as I couldn't choose just one to share!
My weird cat sleeping on needles.......
You may think he's ugly, but he is cute and fuzzy! LOL
Thanks for sharing, I'm really excited for you
NICE!
My favorite one if I had to pick is Fluppy. You should make more of those......sooo cute!
wow, amazing. Although I hate to admit that if I had that much talent, I would hate to use it on something that isn't permanent but that's just me.
Jodi, I have lived in Calgary all my life and I love it. We're just a short drive away from the rocky mountains and it's a big city so there is lots of good dining, shopping and just pretty places to take a walk.
Oh, and Cheryl is right, if you drive into the mountains you will see lots of wild bears, deer and mountain goats. If you like to hike I can recomend some great ones for you.
Any questions, just ask me.
And you'd better look me up! I can take you to our bear/doll store or something.
Wow, how do you do it! They have such cute expressions!! Do they take you a long time to make? Longer or shorter than your average bear?
What a great bear! Hope you have a great show
I have to be honest.......I read that it was great glue but I hate it!
I'm not sure about the smell but I find it takes along time to dry and it is VERY smelly. Not my cup of tea.
I'm posting now to see what my # is.........
Edited to add...
WOW over 2500 posts. That is a little crazy!
Funny, I watched this same horse not even fetch over $70 a year or two ago. I saved the picture bec. I loved it soo much and I had always kicked myself for not bidding.
I'm glad to see that the artist is going to get a fair price, it's an amazing creation
Sorry Bobbie, haven't used it. Although if it works what a great product!
Hopefully someone here can tell us.
Wow, thanks guys. I've been away for a few days but all this info is great.
Thanks for contacting them susan. I feel a little better now.
Wendy, it's great to hear it from you as you're soo much closer to the action then I am. I can see how that article was take out of context.
Shane, that bear is amazing! WOW!
Still not sure if I want to use it on the hide though, I've been avoiding real fur for that reason as well. But the stuff is soo pretty.
Maybe I'll go check out the loose stuff, thanks for the link.
Jane, next time you're up here, right by the new Cosco there is a micheals and they have the stuff........Just so you know.
Nice wings by the way
Hey guys, do you know anything about Tibentan Lamb Mohair?
I only know it from ebay but I would like to buy some. The problem is I noticed it's still on the hide and that just creeps me out. I didn't want them to kill the lamb so I could get the hair off it.
Or maybe I'm missing something?? I hope so because I really want some but I won't buy it if they have to kill the animal 1st.
Thanks for any advice you have
edited to add.........
oh boy! I've been looking on-line and found some nasty info. Just about rearing sheep for wool etc.

I don't want to be a part of this........I hope I'm just getting myself all paraniod.
I don't want to freak anyone out either......sorry.
Amazing! I love this doll, so many elements
That's too bad Gaby, the show looked so nice.
Sounds like it wasn't advertised too well judging by your description of the flyer. That's not too good and something I will take to heart for my own bear show this year.
Thanks for the pics though! I hope you at least had fun at the show meeting other bearmakers.
Its' funny because that's what it looks like here too!
it sucks, I was just getting spring fever and now it's been snowing for a few days now. GRRRRRRrr
hi Penny!
Too bad about the show, you'll have to come for next year for sure! It's nice that you're so close.
Marlys, good luck with the website, make sure to show us when you're done
