I've put my vote in for you. Was thinking of putting photo's in of my two but not sure if possible outside of the US as the contest could just be those in the US
Fingers crossed for you
Now that's what I call really, really cute! What a wonderful mum she is big sighs! She looks just like my Amy and the same colour too.

  CONGRATULATIONS!!!! Nice one Maria and well done you!!! Pat on the back for Jeremy for his good photo work
I couldn't even begin to understand that language but it looks nice

Yes there are times when I miss the showing, the build up to it on the day and then taking part and if I did well then it was even better, there was just such a buzz and excitement about it all and of course you meet a lot of different people and you make a lot of good friends too (don't miss all the travelling and getting up in the early hours of the morning!). When I go along to a dog show which is held locally and I see bad handling and bad presentation of the dog - this is when I am put on a short leash by hubby as I want to grab the leash and the brush from owner and show them how
Over the years I have shown and breed Old English Sheepdogs, American Cocker Spaniels and Lhasa Apsos all the hairy ones! I loved working on the coats and if I did well in the ring then all the hard work was worth while. They were all lovely dogs to live with as well.
Millie (Norwich Terrier) for a terrier has the most laid back peace loving temperament, loves everyone be it a 2 legged or a 4 legged person or animal - doesn't have a mean bone in her body - too friendly for her own good sometimes I think. Amy (Mini Dachs) is a bit more reserved but just as loveable and for a little dog has a lot to say at times
The pair of them get on very well together.

For all you bird lovers out there this is what landed in my garden the other day. 30 of the little b****! Had to keep a close watch on them as they are very distructive but oh so funny to watch as they are such clowns
You go tell them Tucker! That was my answer to the smelly feet - that dogs sweat through their paws, brownie points to me!

Great pictures! Even as babies they have a good set of claws on them. Very cute and just looking at them makes me smile, big sighs

   Nice one!!
big sighs!!

Yep, my dogs feet are smelly too - never thought of relating the smell to certain foods - have to say it is not a bad smell, thank goodness! Nothing wrong with my girls but dogs do sweat/perspire through their feet so that could be one answer to the smelly feet.
Okay, just had to join in - pass, no comment who the heck is Tim McGraw?
Moving on very quickly because I may have just added myself to the old farts society
The person below me is an animal lover and has some of her own.
Very nice looking dog and thank goodness she found you to take care of her and your son in giving her a good home ![]()
I know that a lot of time and work goes into making these reborns - but I just find them not to my liking at all and they give me the creeps - don't want to tread on toes but that's how I feel about them - give me a teddy bear any day!
I did watch the clip and couldn't believe how people were taken in by them.
A friend of mine made her first one a couple of weeks back, sent me a picture - she did a good job considering she has never made one before.

I think this is what is called a very BIG OOPS!!
What a bummer and so soon after Christmas but look at it this way a New Year followed by a new machine which equals new bears!! Can't get better than that

My work space is all over the house! Upstairs, downstairs - this room and that room, this cupboard and that cupboard....
BUT! I do keep everything tidy
Great to see others working spaces - a chance to be really nosey and also to get some ideas on storage

We are NOT amused
You've gotta love that face - says it all
We will be having a quiet one like most years - like Brenda not a big fan of the New Year - will be all tucked up in bed and hopefully will still manage to keep one eye open as I would like to see the firework display on the Sydney harbour bridge on the TV
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL AND HOPE IT WILL BE A GOOD ONE!!  :bday:

Yeah, I'm back to work as well - actually I never stopped - just kept on going! I get withdrawal symptoms very quickly

Thanks for all the lovely animal pictures - something that always puts a smile on my face everyday

Thanks for sharing the pictures of the snow, brrrrrr! I especially love the pictures of the dogs
Well I think I can safely say you are more than welcome to the snow that's for sure - all very pretty but no thank you!

 HAPPY XMAS EVERYONE!!! Enjoy the day and wishing also everyone a good and happy 2008 :bday:

A good thinking topic - okay, well I've tried a lot of things a case of been there, seen it, done it
I would really like to perfect embroidered noses - such a pain for me to do! I know practice makes perfect BUT it didn't work for me and I was so happy when I got to use the cabochon noses and also making the leather ones
Mini's I've tried but like Aleta too fiddly for me - needlefelting gave that one up as I was stabbing myself more times than the wool
I reckon I'll stick to the mid to larger bears and improve on my work - a really large bear would be a challenge for me as I only do hand sewing - me and sewing machines don't go together very well
Oh yes one last thing I would love to come up with something a little different, but I'm working on it! big sigh!
