Hubby gets a bit confused sometimes as my birthday follows on the 24th Nov so sometimes I get a birthday pressie for our annivsary and vice versa

I love reading and I always find a little time each day for burying myself into a book and I can never go to sleep at night without having a read, no matter how tired I am. My favourite reads are murder/mysteries, fantasies, dramas. Lots of favourite authors.
I must be a big woose too as I have read some of Patricia Cornwall books and didn't really like all the gory details 
Though I do like reading Kathy Reich Will give Alexander Mcall Smith a try.
Love the TT Christmas tree - what a great idea and the creations are just wonderful Hope it comes around again next year as I would very much like to join in - time seems to have whizzed pass me this year 
Good thinking Paula - I'm not very good at trying to come up with a new one and hubby is too busy at the moment to help me so I've just going to use last years one

Oh what a face! You can literally see the suffering
It looks really nice, peaceful and idyllic big sigh! Me and hubby have driven through the Karoo a few times on our journeys down to Cape Town, so remember it quite well. If you like the quiet life then I reckon you should go for it! A couple of sheep in the yard sounds good to me I could do with a couple myself!

I am sure that others who use Ebay for selling will have noticed these rather strange ID bidders that go something like this n***c and you can't get any bidding history up about them 
Also if you run a check on the ID according to Ebay they do not exsist as it seems Ebay have removed them or they have been automatically generated and then removed by the person trying to disrupt the bidding, very strange! If Ebay had removed them then it is much a case of closing the stable door after the horse has bolted, the damage has already been done! Then there is all the email scams going on with false links - about time Ebay pulled their fingers out and sorted it all out especially this disruptive bidding, quite easily prevented!

Oh me too! I have the same problem with my hubby he just doesn't get it! I love to collect other artists work which I admire so much and know I can't make and is not my style I have lost count of the many times that I have tried explaining, gave up years ago so just keep quiet now

The storms have been and gone where I am - plenty of the wet stuff and strong winds but no damage. Pretty scary when that wind kicks in - usually find things have taken a walk and have ended up down the bottom of the property My daughter hates lightening too and goes into hiding I like watching the lightening but even I jump when it falls very close to the house and it makes the whole house shake because the following thunder is so loud
