Kathy, you are an angel...

I am so glad this pour doggie found a nice loving home and family to put an end to the hell she was in.

I cannot believe some people are so heartless and able to abandon an animal on the side of a road.
This happens every year in France. Many cats and dogs end up in shelters after being abandonned.  bear_cry  bear_cry

People who truely love their pet cannot do that. I would not be able to let my cat alone more than one day. We only find a way for her to have good holidays. In addition, now we have wonderful neighbours who would accept to look after her if necessary. bear_thumb

If people know they cannot find a way to have their pets looked after, what is the point of adopting some? They'd better buy a new brain. bear_tongue

i cannot wait to see photos of your new dog, Katty...

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

Ah, Jenny, I really love her too!

I think your customer will quickly forget she/he had to wait a lot before getting her!  bear_rolleyes

Hummm, Jenny, I do not think this is a big problem your customers have to wait. You are not a machine, and to be so beautiful, your bears need all your attention and patience...

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

Paula, Coral sky is the prettiest beary girl ever. I really love her and I cannot see any reason why your customer would not love her! She is a real delight for my eyes.
She reminds me that beautiful yellow open mouth girl you made not long ago.

I hope that the day I can afford a bear from you, this will be a bear from that pattern of yours... but when that time comes, you may have changed your style...  bear_tongue

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

Dear friends,

I am blessed to have such lovely neighbours.
I hapenned to tell them about me searching some wool to stuff my bears so wanting to fin farmers breading some sheeps.

They told me about one living nearby and contacted him for me. He phoned me back this morning telling me he had some rough wool available.
I will visit him this evening to get the wool.

I heard that cleaning rough wool is not that easy so i need to know the best way to do it.

Could you please give me some advices about how to do it?

Next step will be to card it. I will visit a few garage sales to see I i can find some there. i found some websites selling the material if I am not lucky at garage sales.
Usualy, when i am after something specific I want quickly, I never find it at garage sales  bear_cry . and once I bought it in a shop, I see some at the next garage sales!!!!!  bear_angry

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

You did great vicky for this lovely white angel. It must have been quite a challenge to make such a big bear for you!

I agree with the others that we can definately recognise your style in him.

Take time to enjoy him as long as you wish! After all, why wouldn't we be allowed to keep some bears we made??? You can still tell yourself you will consider parting with him when you are really in need of some room for other bears (or some money), hehehehehehehehe!  bear_tongue  bear_whistle  bear_innocent

Thanks for sharing, Daphne!

Oh, Bobbie, i wish I could help you...

I had a colleague at school suffering from sleep apnea. As he got tired of that, he finally decided to have surgery : his jaws were both moved, to allow air to follow the right route. the inconvenient is that it changes the face shape, but the BIG advantage is that it works great. Our colleague visited us at school after his surgery, and said that he suffered a little during the first week after surgery but then was okay and had no apnea anymore and even better : he was no noisy anymore while sleeping. His wife is so relieved that she will not have to worry anymore every night.

Maybe you should inquire about this surgery in your country if you think it could be a better solution than struggling to make masks all life.

Just my two cents about it, Bobbie.

Hummmm, very annoying...
Our cat does not care about my bears and whould not play with them as they do not move on their own!
So i do not have this problem.
Couldn't you try to find some sorts of nice grids to attach to your shelves??? Just an idea...

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

you all made great pandas, my friends!
i still have not begun mine... He is waiting for his turn. i have another bear to finnish first, hehehehehe. Plus I am still thinking about how to alter my usual pattern to turn it into a panda pattern.
I will not use the traditionnal black and white, though : like Paula, I have already chosen the fabrics, but one bear at a time... bear_tongue  So just be patient.

Bearu hugs,
Sophie.

PS: I have no bamboo there to feed my panda. Do you think hot chocolate will be fine?

Oh dear!
It must have been a scary time for you!
So far i do not remember that i ever had to put any of my fingers UNDER the needle. But I am just a beginner and we never know what is going to happen...  bear_tongue

I am glad you managed to remove the needle yourself so it avoided you to suffer too much  (imagine how long you could have waited at the hospital before being tken cared of!).

I am glad too to ear that there is no sign of infection.

take care,
Beary hugs,
Sophie.

lapousmor

You all make me feel better now...  bear_tongue

I guess I will more likemy keep it flat untill next time I use it.
So far, I only use it outside when the light looks okay. I do not have good lamps inside to use with such a big light tent.
i still prefer to take photos in the garden but the problem is that sometimes we are aked shots taken with a uniform background so now i try to do both.

Concerning background colours, i try to figure out what colour fits the best to the colours of the bear i need to photograph. For example, a black background is definately not the best one for a navy blue bear : I tried it with my bear Candide and I was not happy with the result.
I guess you all do the same, hehehehehe! nothing to teach you there: you tried it before me!  bear_whistle

Oh, i forgot to tell you that the first time I removed my folded light tent from its plastic bag it almost broke my nose as I was far to guess it would blast open that fast!!!!!  bear_wacko  bear_wacko  bear_wacko i should have guessed it though, as we have a Quechua tent opening with the same system( we used it only once and it was a nightmare to fold it      )!

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

lapousmor

Grrrrr....
Not long ago I bought a light tent like many of you. That is a big one (80 cm square), as I like to make big bears.
The first time i used it, all went perfectly well when i first tried to fold it. I had the instructions from a website and as soon I tried it it worked!!!

Yesterday I used again my light tent but had not instructions near me so kept it for today to fold it.
Well, I have no idea why, but even when following instructions, I just could not twist it properly to fold it, so I gave up until.... hummmm... next try???

I cannot believe it was so easy the first time and now just looks impossible!!!!

Did you have such problems with yours????

Beary hugs,
Sophie.

And this new one will just be perfect for you.  bear_tongue  So do not give up and keep searching it!

Good luck,

Sophie.
