Congratulations to another Jane. She is lovely and another deserving win. Did I miss something? Did Sam win too? Another congrats in order. I think TT'ers have the market cornered with all their creativity.

Finally took some pics of my Halloween Challnge Fairy. Hope you all like her. I've posted her in the Challenge Gallery and in the Friends gallery with the Sassy Sisters. I'd love if you all take a look and let me know your thoughts.

Jude
There is something called Floss Away that you can find in your craft stores. It's to store embroidery floss and it has several small plastic bags that zip shut on a binder ring. I keep all my patterns in this and it even has a place on the bag that you can write the floss color # but I just write the name of the bear. Now all I have to do is flip through and find the pattern I want. Hope this helps.

I too use a backstitch and with material that has a grid on the back I try to go 2 squares up and 1 square back. I use a size 10 or 12 quilting needle and stay about 1 square away from the edge. I know that sounds tedious but after a while it becomes second nature and you can do it even on material that doesn't have the grid. Good luck and I look forward to seeing you little one.

Oh Mary he's terrific (or as we say around here a real Hoot) Love the tongue. Great idea.

Oh yes it worked... I got so excited I forgot to post here but I posted under the pics of Gatherers.

I know I've already asked about this but I still don't get it  I'm still not able to load more than 1 picture at a time into the Teddy Bear & Friends section. I have even printed out the instructions and no luck. It says to save, but save where. If I go into File on my tool bar I can't use the save, just the save as. If I go into Edit I can't find anything to edit Can someone please help a mature
(old) lady with this. I need someone to take me by the hand and lead me step by step.
thanks,
Jude
Well my halloween challange is cut out and partially sewn but I've never done a challenge here before...do we post the pic as soon as we are done or do we have to wait till the deadline? And do we post in this thread?
mini hugs,
Jude
You guys are hysterical  Now I really don't know what to do...guess some will have undies and others will go commando...let the buyer beware!
Jude
Count me in...I've been mulling over a haloween bear for about 2 weeks now and this will give me the incentive to finally get off my butt and just do it.
Jude
How wonderful...I adore bunnies. Now you've given me the itch to pull out an old old bunny pattern and make one. Brewster is great and I too love the big ears.
Jude
For those of you who make little girl bears and dress them do you put underwear on them? I've just started dressing my mini girls and don't know if they need panties or not. I don't put them on my faeries but of course everyone knows faereis are kind of naughty anyway
Oh Chloe....he's just wonderful and so soft and cuddly looking and of course butterflies are just faeries in disguise.
Jude
Linda...one of mine is a porky yorkie. I call him lardbut...he's almost 10 lbs. So I may need 2 socks for him too.
Jude
This is just too too much  And as I have 2 yorkies I can use both of the socks in the pair.
Jude
If that's only your second of your own design can I hire you to do my patterns? I think she's wonderful and her eyes are beautiful.

Hi Catherine,
When you do mini wings you will end up with one or two wires from each side of the wings. I twist these together and then whip stitch them in place. I them cover the wire and stitching with all sorts of pretty things like mini flowers or beads or even some chenille. Whatever is appropriate for the faerie. Did that make sense?
