I do love Autumn for all the luscious colours, but my favourite time of year is Winter - I quite like the cold weather and I LOVE the snow and Christmas!!

OH Gemma they are darling....what about Sebastian and Tinker, and then title the piece A friend makes life bearable?????
Good luck with the awards, you could also enter this pair into the ACE awards as well as the theme is friendship
Hugs,
Krista
Krista, I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing - great minds think alike!!!
Thank you all so much for your suggestions and lovely comments. I decided to call them 'A Teddy Makes Life Bearable'...but as the name isn't particularly required by the judges at the moment, I'll change it to "Sebastian and Tinker - 'A Teddy Makes Life Bearable'"
Here are a few pictures that I sent off to the judges.

And my most favourite picture of Sebastian......

Thanks for your suggestions everyone. I think I will call them Sebastian and Tinker (thanks Aleta!!) but just for the show I will call them 'A Friend Makes Life 'Bearable''....or should it be 'A Teddy Makes Life 'Bearable''...... Please help me decide!!!
1) "A Friend Makes Life Bearable"
2) "A Teddy Makes Life Bearable"
.....please vote!!!!
Mikki, Mikki, Mikki....you're KILLING me with your creations!!!! I really MUST have one some day!
Here is the bear I have made for the British Bear Artist Awards. I'm really pleased with him but I pooping myself that the judges won't agree!
I was going to call him Sebastian and his Bear but I've had a suggestion from a friend of 'A Friend Makes Life Bearable'...which I LOVE.....I'd REALLY appreciate any other suggestions and your HONEST opinion on this bear - please try and think like a judge would!
He is a new size for me at 6" and his needlefelted bear is just over 2".
I have to send photos of them off tomorrow for the first round of judging (where 6 bears from each category are chosen). I am entering the 'novice' section. I won't be using these photos as they are a bit rubbish - I've just taken them quickly to show you all.
Anyway, PLEASE HELP ME DECIDE ON A NAME!!!

THAT IS AMAZING!!!!!! I'm sure they're both real.......
Paula he's great! Maybe I will be nominated at the BBAA this December...fingers crossed...I'll show you all my competition entry later......
Thank you everyone!
Tammy - thank you SO much for sharing your pictures! I now know I only need to leave them in for 1-2 hours!
I have the same problem - my hands get very dry and my cuticles split......I'm a bit naughty though and don't use hand cream...
   Who would have thought that sweet innocent little bruin would've caused all that mayhem??!!!
This rat is gorgeous!!! Love him!
Hi Doreen - thank you for your wondeful comments!
The pictures automatically appear when you list a bear on Bears & Friends (which is where you put info on your bears for sale). It's at the bottom of the main page.
He's so cute! The colours go really well together.
I've been having a look at your website......I LOVE those pumpkins!!!
I am just about to finish a bear and I would like to put a row of bells around his neck. I'd like the bells to look old but I have had difficulty in finding some small ones. I've had to buy some normal gold bells, but of course they are 'new' looking. Has anyone got any tips on how I can age them? The only thing I can think of is giving them a rub with sandpaper.
I'd really appreciate any suggestions!
Oh my gosh - I LOVE this bear!!!! You can send him to me if you like!
Your son is gorgeous too!
Thank you Sophie and Jenny - I'm glad I didn't make a boo-boo!!! I'll try it again on my current bear!
Thank you so much for the pattern Jodi - I can't wait to make mine!! I don't think I'm going to do one with a Christmas theme though - I'd like to be able to wear it ALL year round!!!
I need your help! I decided to try nose wax on one of my bears and I don't know if I've done it properly. I warmed the wax under a bulb and applied it to the nose but it ended up having a white sheen to it...I abandoned it and used nose shine instead. Why did it happen? If I'd have then rubbed it with paper, would the white sheen have gone? I didn't want to try it as I was worried that I'd make it worse!!
