Ooh Laurie, I LOVE the brown one!!!!
This was the bear that first made me think 'now this is the look I want'!!

This was a bear the same size which turned out to be my favourite bear to date - he has all the features i wanted to create in a bear...

And this little fella is probably my biggest achievement because he's the most money I've got for a bear - and he's only 4" tall (well, just under!). I don't find mini's difficult to do at all so maybe I should make more if they're going to be popular...

Ooh, yes - that sounds fun!!! ![]()
    Oh, that one's GREAT!!!!
Are you looking for people who would be interested in these things so we could share the savings? Coz I'd DEFINATELY be interested in a pair of the fiskars!
...should I REALLY be entering a bear into the British Bear Artist Awards??.....
I always wanted a Teddy Ruxpin too, but they were always SOOO expensive!
Wowzer...that's more stuff than I own!!!!
This guy is a sicko!!!!
I'd like to break HIS legs and poke out HIS eyes - see how he flamin' well likes it!!!!
Aleta, your daughter is breathtakingly beautiful - you must be such a proud mummy!
The photos are superb - I'm getting married next year and those are the sort of photos I'd love.
They're all fab! I'm seriously in love with the first 2!!
These were my answers...
1) Tiger...pride.
2) Dog...companion (my own person), Cat...loving (my partner
), Rat...intelligent (my enemies  ), Coffee...GOOD (meaning my sex life    ), Sea...peaceful (my own life....it's never peaceful with 2 sons!!!).
3)Colours....I will never forget my god-mother, I see my son as a true friend, I really love my dad, my twin soul is my mum (we're like best friends more than mother/daughter), and I will remember my other half for the rest of my life...umm, yep, he'd be pretty difficult to forget!!!
Sonya, what absolutely devastating news for you and poor little Sunshine.
I am truly sorry for your loss and my thoughts are with you at this unbearably sad time.
Here's an 85mm one from BearCountryUK....http://www.bearcountryuk.com/product_in … ts_id/4728
Sandi, you're a treaure...thank you SO much!!
Oh, I suppose I'D better join in!!! Well I've only been making bears since January of this year so you probably won't see much of a difference compared to some of you!!
This is the very first bear I ever made. He was from a kit by Ruth Parsons. He's 4" tall and called Peanut.
This is the second bear I ever made from another kit. Again 4" and called Edward.
The 3rd bear I ever made from my OWN pattern (I only used other people's patterns for my first 2 bears before I dived right in and started designing myself!!). He was a gift for my son and called Benji. Made in February of this year.
Some of my recent bears....
Charlie - 10"
Bobby - just under 4" (currently on eBay)
I'm looking for a knitted hat pattern - those cute little hats which have the holes for the ears and a LONG point to it which flops down the back of the bear (people usually hang a bell from it etc). Any ideas where I would find a pattern?
Thanks!
I couldn't get it to play....
Aww thank you everyone! I was rather pleased with him.
Shelli, the mohair was sent to me by a friend in Australia. It had a sort of wavy slightly stringy appearance, but I gave it a brush to make it more fluffy!!!
This is a bear I made a little while back made from a gorgeous plush called Rhubarb Pie. His name is Worzel.

Charlie is a bear I made for a friend visiting from Australia.
Ooh, you will be at Ally Pally? I may be going...I'd love to see your bears in the fur!!
He's fantastic for your first ever bear! ![]()
