Awe wow. I love these pictures. What a darling koala
What a treat to see these. Thanks.
Ah Jane I know just how you feel. We have had a 46.5" record snow fall here in Wisconsin for December alone! :photo: It's beautiful but does create a lot of extra work and headaches.
Your last photo would be illegal here
. No parking in the streets during the winter months. The plows need to get thru.
Well on the bright side, just think of all the calroies you'll burn shoveling snow!
Happy shoveling

AWE she is just perfect Melisa.

Absolutely precious.
and what a beautiful setting.
Sandra, I too emailed a few photos of knitted bears...and I apologize for calling you "Sarah"
My dream would be to first win the lottery then collect one bear or animal form every artist I know....and build an addition on my house to keep them all.

For creating my dream bear....this year. I told myself to stop dreaming about and just do it. ![]()
Hi Brenda,
I don't consider myself computer savy but my dad gave his 2007 Macbook an he bought one of those thin AirMacs. I have to say I find it pretty user friendly and have not had any problems at all. No viruses either. We have a band new pc but 99% of my computer time is on my Mac.
So for my two cents it all boils down to a personal choice. Both work but ....once you try Mac you'll never go back.!
Another smashing party Jane!    This is your best yet!    Who hoo! Thank you for such a fun fun TT PARTY!

I'm a FB member too Jane, but have not found any of you yet.
I just love happy endings. Yay for the penguin!
Kim, Horse tail hair works great and is what I use. It looks and feels very natural....but watch out if you have any cats around as they will chew them off.
Good luck.
Hi Ellen,
I take supplies with me when I fly. The most recently time we flew was this past August. I took knitting needles, and sewing supplies, sewing needles and scissors. Security told us that scissors were allowed if they have rounded tips. I have taken Friskar scissors...you know, the kind used for school children and they cost about $1.60 a pair. Also little sewing kits often have tiny scissors which are perfect for this.
I met Steve ( The Bear Guys) in Kolher and he showed me what he takes on the plane for sewing...a really cool pendant that he wears as a necklace which is designed for cutting threads.
It seems that the rules change quite a lot but hopefully you will be able ot get through with your supplies. Heck this summer we got Hermit crabs on the plane.......but were told these really weren't allowed as they can cub through wires.
Best of luck.

Mel, Brandon is a beautiful boy!
I love happy endings.
I recently saw a few reborns . premies, with their skin integrity broken down, and discharge from their eyes and nose. We steered WAY clear of that table. Even my ii year old daughter found them disturbing.

I sure hope I don;t get side-tracked today and miss it myself. According to the preview Dr. Phil thinks it's all a bit creepy....his exact words.
I saw some of these Reborn Babies at a bear and doll show and the "healthy-looking" babies were breath taking...BUT...there are also reborn babies that look like they belong in the NICU (Neonatal Intensive Care Unit).
I have three children so I know what newborns look like...also my son spent a few days in the NICU due to him being born(induced) at 37 3/7th weeks ...he was a whopping 9 pounds 13 ounces but was not feeding well so he had to go to the NICU for five days. Anyway...the babies in those units are so small and skinny they almost don't look real.
They are amazing works of art...but who does the basic body? Not the Reborn artists? They do the hair and paint the skin...right?
I agree Marion....and it looks like Dr. Phil does too...from the show preview.
They are so incredibly life-like....too life-like maybe.
Hi everyone,
Just thought I would let you know that Reborn Babies will be featured on Dr.Phil today Dec 10th at 3PM Central Standard Time. From the commercials it looks like it will be about how they are made and the people who are obsessed with treating them like real babies. Sounds like it may be very interesting. I'll be watching.
tee hee...I just watched it again! Now I'm off to get some work done......

What a lovely daughter you have Carolyn. And how exciting to be in Vogue Magazine.
Tami that is so cute. Heck, I have even done that
....not on stairs though.
Glad you enjoyed it . I have watched it a few times...even my kids think it's funny.
Totally off topic. I just had to share this with all of the mom's out there. I laughed until I cried!
So, turn up your sound and prepare to laugh!
