oh that was hystrical. I read it out loud to my daughter, we had tears streaming down our faces. I didn't know it had been done before...I'm glad I didn't, it made it funnier. I'll have to share this one.
Theres also liquid illusion, I believe thats what its called, i did use it a few times awhile back . It 's used for filling glass vases or any other glass container to make it look like there's water in the vase with silk flowers. It looks so real. Maybe you can add some food coloring to it . You should find it at a craft store.
You can usually get it on ebay too...and I've seen some even sell it with tips on colouring it.
ohhhhhh someone is going to be VERY lucky!
I used to have one that looked like that, but it's ears were always crossed, so I called her 'Goodluck'. She was a darling, just like that one.
He certainly is gorgeous.
He is so gooooooooooooooooood! I love him. I'm sure his new owner will be thrilled.
That should have an 'awwwwwwwwwwww' warning..lol
oh they are not fun....I went through them wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy early..at 30 years old, my mum did the same. Lucky I had my kids in my 20's. I can be embarrassing at times, I did get some strange looks, especially when it happened while I was in the bank...the lady behind the glass, gave me such a funny look, I think she thought I was feeling nervous, because I was up to no good
Your poor hubby, windows open at this time of year .......I have fans next to my com, bed and sitting room chair...it's wonderful!
I hope they pass soon for you.
My heart certainly goes out to the families.
It's been annoying me, how the news has been saying 'prostitutes dead/killed' in t.v and in news headlines. These are girls, people first and foremost. One family didn't even know their daughter had been prositituting, what an awful way to find out.
I'd be so afraid for my daughter and her friends, if we lived in/near Ipswich or Suffolk. I'm praying they catch the murder(s) soon, before he strikes again.
Hugs and good thoughts for the twins and family. I hope they are all well and able to be home for Christmas soon.
oh, now that would make a wonderful plush toy..lol
As long as the kit isn't mis-sold after it's been made, then I don't think it's a problem.
Before I moved I hung out with two very good friends of mine. One loved making things, she was a professional seamstresss. She and I would throw ideas about and come up with things to make, we loved arts and crafts. While our other friend didn't make anything. She felt unable too, didn't think she was capable of anything craft like. We made her a kit (wall hanging heart, with detail) She loved it, hung it on her wall and it opened a whole world to her. She went on to make other items we taught her to make and loved feeling she'd created something from scratch. I can't see her ever making anything that isn't in kit form, but it gives her a wonderful feeling of being creative, which really isn't her fort'e. She's a clever woman, but more intellectual than hands on.
Kits have their place, it's when they are mis- represented, ie used dishonestly that the problem arises....but that's the case with most dishonesty.
ok going to crawl back under my sewing pile.
Edited to add... Not everyone who uses kits, has any intention of selling what they make. I loved painting by numbers as a kid, but I wouldn't do it now, now I'd want to improve my drawing and painting skills.
He is adorable. Love the worn look.
oh Well done Noah! What a wonderful proud mummy moment. :photo:
I was looking at 'bear' stuff, you know the way you do and came across this site.
It has some beautiful items..so cool, so I thought I'd share.

Congratulations Grandma. Wow double the trouble. I love the names.
A VERY CUTE baby wallaby or kangaroo, is what I see.
awwwwwww that is so very cute.
He is brill! I've finished felting the head of my dragon (not my pattern, a bought pattern) but he'll have to wait till after Christmas for me to finish him.
I love your dragon, his wings, his spine, everything.
Fantastic!!!!!!!
Well I've not finished my FIRST teddy bear yet, I will though(probably after Christmas)...I have the bug, but I did make one of my 'fleece ferrets' This fella is called 'Humbug'. He recently sold on eBay. (He's on my avatar)
Humbug, thinks that eating sweets (candy) called 'humbugs' (hence his name), will make him sweet and help him gain a fat belly to keep the winter chill off. He's been stashing humbugs, though he hasn't many left, as he can't resist eating them. 'Humbug' has a fatter belly than all his other fleece ferret friends. He wants to be Santa's helper,so much, he's wearing a long Santa hat, with a bell on the end, a lovely Santa top, and trousers, all with a soft white trim.
He's looking for a new home for Christmas, and stands looking out of the window hoping, that special someone, will want him.
wow they are all sooooo beautifully done, just wonderful. what lovely surprises.
