I'm hoping the police will at least tell you what they thought after finding him....in other words whether it would be wise for you to press charges, or just drop them.
I'm afraid in this scenario you ended up making yourself a target 
Its not great, and it certainly does NOT justify this man's reactions, but in a heightened scenario, he was looking for someone to lash out at ~ and you got the brunt of it I wouldn't doubt he was over the top with adrenaline, probably from the ongoing arguement with the other man under some questionable driving conditions. Only takes just a small thing to present a target, and then its all reflex reactions from there....
But to hear about all your other woes atop :hug: Honey, your luck has GOT to change! :hug: As the others say, these things travel in threes. Go buy that lotto ticket, and steer clear of the choco. Get yourself a new bear or some fab mohair to play with instead.

Matilda Huggington-beareOh my goodness gracious Sandra, What on earth is happening to Australia. The violence and anger that is displayed lately is down right scary.
I personally believe it is all the medication we are taking and compounded by the fact that when they are caught nothing happens to them any way. They just get away with it.

LutonSandra, I am so stunned!! I couldn't believe it when I read your post. You should have kicked him hard with your cast.
Problem is you never know how you will react until your in these situations.I probably be more defensive if someone I loved got hurt, if it was me and I was on my own I'd probably just want to get away. He could have hurt you alot more than he did. Nothing is worth that!!!

I think you should pursue it if he's caught. People like that need to know they cannot get away with it - no matter how bad their day was. That guy had no right to touch you !!!

OMG!!! I just don´t get it..he must´ve been NUTS! I hope the police get him and BUST him or something. But don´t worry, we have this saying that there´s water boiling for every pig..if you know what I mean...It´ll get back to him!

Strange BearsJust to update you all.........and thank you for all the hugs.....
The police went around to see him and .......can you belive this!!! He assaulted the female officer who was there!!!!! There were two officers apparently 1 male 1 female and he appears to have taken exception to the female officer and attacked her.
He obviously has problems with women.......I did wonder why he picked on my rather than the man he was have an argument with.
So at this stage it looks like I don't have to go to court as he's up for assaulting a police officer..........what a total nutter.
The police are having hin assessed as even they think he has a real problem. although they agree it is not readily apparent on first sight.
Anyway I'm now fairly Ok .....except my inner lip feels bruised and sore when I clean my teeth and the scratches on my arm are a bit messy.

Oh my goodness Sandra, what a horribly frightening thing to have happen to you. It sure does sound like that man has a serious problem. To hit a cop even-sheesh. I'm glad you are feeling a bit better. Wow, you just never know what is going on inside someones head, no matter how nice they look. Take care and get completely healed.

Although I'm sorry the female officer was also hurt... it worked out well so that he will be punished even worse (hopefully) and it takes the load off of you!
Posts: 3,540What a nut! And what a relief he's attacked the female officer. I know that sounds awful, but police don't take kindly to someone who attacks their own. They can fully deal with the situation now, and you can happily get on with healing and your life

Bears by JodiI agree with Marion, ... if he would do that to you someone who he doesn't know I am sure his wife and kids are getting the same at home ...PRESS CHARGES and go get checked out , he may have injured you more than you know !!! And it will cost you more money down the road. Thats why we have laws !!! He is guilty of assault plain and simple !!!
