Hey, Shelli, I'll toot my own horn! I'm in that book (rather my bears are!) a couple of times, too!! (once where I'm credited, where I am not) I actually "brag" about this in my bio on my auctions. I thought it was a big deal considering the other artists in there as well!! I was so pleased to be included among them, and since I've never been published in a magazine other than contest nominees and winners. (Yes, I know, TOOT TOOT! Blame it on the margarita I had at dinner!--I'd better spell check this!)
I hope that that Lark will take up your idea as well! I had hoped to get some thing in the art dolls book too, since I do that as well now, but of course I didn't get my paperwork in . Sigh!
Aw shucks, you guys, twern't nothin'. There really are MANY, MANY other artist bears in there, and it does make an excellent coffee table specimen. I had my copy of the book on the coffee table for years. Daphne, how smart of you to find it . . . I looked forever on Lark's website and Amazon, thinking surely it would be one of those places. Thanks, y'all . . . I'm all embarrassed.
OK, Sue Ann, now I feel bad for tooting my horn. I was pretty proud to be asked.
The book looks to be on amazon too. I think we've got the right book...author, publisher and title all seem to match up
I just picked up a copy..couldn't resist for the like new price!

Actually, I was too, Tami . . . REALLY pleased. Toot all you want, girl - your bears are exceptionally fantastic!
Shelli keeping fingers and toes crossed for your fabulous idea!!!
What a great idea Shelli - I will keep my fingers crossed, that they will be interested.
I am sure there would be many bear loving folk about that would like to have a beautiful book on their coffee table,
I know I would.
When I was in Australia, I bought a book "The complete book of Teddy Bear Artists in Australia and New Zealand " -
A who's Who of Bear artists in the Antipodes by Jennifer Laing. (Sally Milner Publishing)
It is a lovely book and was first published in 1996.
Hugs
Carolyn
