You go girl!
I can surely understand...I spend a couple of days organizing my bear and doll studio ( I also have a studio for my watercolors). Then I begin another project...voila...mohair all over; pattern pieces piled next to the sewing maching; box full of bear supplies; box full of doll projects; six shelves full of boxes of different colored material; oh yes, washer and dryer on one side. My hubby bought me a nice big table to cut fabric and work at and put it nicely in front of the window. Well...my little dog decided it was a nice place to nap and watch out the windor for squirrels so it is now "hers"! Now, I am starting to stack boxes of "stuff" on the floor. I have two headless babies on the counter waiting for their hair to be rooted. I get claustraphobia just entering the door!!! I just had a new floor put in the room but I don't know why, I can't ever see it...
What a beautiful kitten...I love her...
Wubbie, I never draw the nose. I use a bit of felt the same color as the nose I want and play with that until I have a shape I like...then I glue the felt to the nose area. I embroider over that...it keeps my stitches in order and no fur will peek through...
There is a book..."Bearmaking" by Carol-Lynn Rossel Waugh, that gives patterns and explains in detail how to make a multi limbed bear. Hope this helps...
Jessie, let me know when you recieve your patterns...if I can be of help putting them together just let me know.
Susan, you have outdine yourself with Reese. She is so gentle and sweet. (not at all like real grizzlies!) Keep up the good work.
Oh but she is wonderful...you have such talent!!!
I wish you could find a needle threader like mine. You just put the needle, eye first, into a hole then lay the thread over a slot and push the little lever...voila...threaded needle. Works great and I think it would be a cinch for you even though you can't see...
I would be honored to have one of your bears...
How about just telling them that you are sorry but it just isn't convient at thie time...
Sure wish we were a little closer or I was able to drive around better!!! I'll send you a patters...
Wubbie, I have some old cute bear patterns I could send you but I don't know if you could use them. They have to be read and I don't know if you could see the lines to cut???
Love bunny...he is just so charming!
Jessie, he is lilac with a big, fluffy white tummy; green and white shalw with a big green daisy; big black eyes and a large white snout. So cute!
after seeing some drawings and paintings from an artist that has no arms I think you can do anything you really set your mind to. The drawings and paintings were just spectactular...
So cute!
Shannon, so glad to hear that things seem to be "looking" up...
Wubbie is blind so it is difficult for her to negoitate things. Glad to see you here Wubbie.
