I can see that Dilu went off...To work on the eyelashes I am sure!!   Renae here is one of my Anime style Gollies. He is in trouble ..with ice- cream all over his shirt and shoe!!

Hi Renae   Thanks! I know that the picture is not too good   About the eyelashes, that is so right, that it will take two, to do it but, what about if ( I just thought about it!!) you use tape, to secure and cover the area surrounding the eyelashes? Maybe it will work and you will not need   another set of hands!

WOW! It did work!! I am telling you i always surprised that a picture shows in here!! I had sooooooooooooooo much trouble before, not that i am an expert now but, at least i can do it!! I have to work now on making better pictures    Is always something!!
Dilu I have not used mascara but, I had other types of make-up like blush. You better try it on the eyelashes before you put them on...Just in case

Hi Dilu...I am so happy to see somebody in here!! HelloooO!! Where is everybody !! Maybe everybody ( except you and I Dilu !! ) went on vacation?? I know..They are busy, busy with their Anime Gollies!   In here is a picture ( I hope!! ) of a Golly and a bear I made a while ago for a friend, the two of them are aged ( the horse too! ) and I name "it"  Attic friends. Hope you can see it.

Thanks Dilu.  The picture is not good ( worse than usual!! ) because it was with my old camera. I was thinking that maybe I design a grandpa for our challenge?? I am working on two more ( I am getting carried away in here!! ). I saw the one in the gallery that has green eyes and I think it look so deferent!! I am thinking on making one with blue eyes I have never done a Golly with blue eyes but, I want to ask Chrissi if she mind, the idea of color eyes was hers after all.

Hi Dilu here is a "Senior" Golly. I hope that you can see him. Is part of the set of Golly and bear I donated to Good Bears of the World a few years ago.....Oh I wish I would be able to know where they end up?? That is one ( I'll will like that only one!! ) thing that I am weird about it. hard to let them go sometimes!!

I took some pictures of the Anime Gollies that I am working on...Lets see "if" I can show them in here ..NO promise!! I will try to show you guys my boy that it is dress..I think I want to give  him with something?? Another one is of the girl naked!!  :redface:  I don't know what I am going to do with her hair?? Is done and I can let it like that or...add more hair?

Good that my misspelling makes someone feels good! Thanks for helping feel more at easy in here Dilu, really, not joking now. You are GREAT! I am so happy that, an expert like you, like my babies!! I planing to make another ones  more tradicional ( smaller heads for sure!! ) I love the idea of swapping..but, I always  think that my designs are not good enough ...What can I say?? That makes my friends mad a  me but, I can't help it How that swap thing works?...Just in case I feel brave??
In here is 106 ( I know ...YIKES!! ). The fires are not too close, I am in a city about one hour and a half  (more or left depending on traffic ) of LA. The fires are at about 200 or 250 miles from here. Poor people that are loosing their houses, their homes!! I can think of being told to leave in a hurry...What about the bears!! I pray that the fires stay away from homes!!
Ok I better go. I have been on today for a long time. We normally go out ( my husband and I ) on Saturday but today??? NO WAY!!  Too hot out there!

This is one of my BIG noses designs. The picture is not too "clear" ( I have to 'work" on that too   ) and I did the stuffing and layering of felt to it and finally varnished it.

Very interesting ladies   ..I make the BIG noses , putting a dap of polyfill, under layers ( depending on the size ) of felt templates. I do finished, most of my bear's noses, with acrylic varnish.

Good Morning   Well...In here where I am is.
Here are the first pictures of my Gollies in "progress". The one that has hair already, is the boy and the one bold is going to be a girl. She has eyelashes..I don't know if you can see it (  not good at taking pictures   ) . The other two pictures are of the braided yarn ( some with color treads in them ), that  I will use for hair, on some of them, mainly on the girl ..I thinK?

HEY!! I already gave a dead line!!! August 31!! I did ask if it was ok with everybody or more time will be better......I am a very"flexible"    boss ( See Dilu? I did it RIGHT!! ) We still having people are liking the idea. Welcome Jodi LOVE your Golly, and bear couple ! They look that they are having lots of fun!!Your Avantar picture is great too! I have the same opinion, the more the best!! Do we have any limits in the Galleries? That is something we have to make sure, that way, everybody that wants to participate will have room for their Golly. When I talked to Dilu about having this challenge, I never thought it was going to be so interesting, in sooooo many ways!!

Dilu...I forgot! ( Another Senior moment!!  Yikes!! They are coming fast!! )I love how your Golly is coming along!! You were talking about the neck joint WOW! That part I do not like to do! My heads are bigger and it is hard to get the joint and to have a supporting neck!! I had my husband cut a wooden dole and I put one in the neck area and it makes it stronger. I have a question for everyone. Can we enter more than one in the gallery? I will like to make one with better proportions ( like Dilu's!! ) but, I don't think we talk about that and another thing...What about the dead line? Is everybody happy with the last day of August?
