I'm glad you asked this question too, Helena. I hadn't really considered the fact that the exchange rate could change BEFORE showing up on your credit/debit card. I typically pay for things directly out of my Paypal account as well...or a direct funds transfer. I get more discouraged with the difference in shipping costs. BUT, if it's something I want bad enough I usually just purchase it anyway.
Well...I would normally think my mom was full of it but I can recall more than one occassion when she told me about a dream and then days later it really happened. She has secondary narcolepsy so she drifts off to sleep all the time time for seconds to minutes...I tease her about it. She does it when she's on the phone...one second she's telling me something...then it goes quiet...then she starts up again like she's been talking the whole time. It's funny...we tease her about it all the time...she just tells us we are BORING HER TO SLEEP.
Aren't dreams fascinating? I rarely remember any of my dreams...partly because I have sleeping disorder and don't often get into REM sleep for longs periods of time which is where you dream. When I DO however manage to drift into dreamland...they are always very vivid and seem real. I've even had to ask people if things happen.
My mom has actually had dreams come true....fascinating...it's like they were preminitions (sp).
It's show both currencies...or at least when you log in it does. The currencies used for listing will be in regular text and the US currency will show up in italics underneath. It may be reversed but when I log in I get both.

Hi Dorothy...I LOVE LOVE LOVE your site...it's just cute, funky and quirky too!! Your little bears darling...thanks a heap...now I have to add one to my EVER GROWING list of NEEDS!!!
Hugs,
Shantell
Thanks Jenny, Paula and Ellen...
I've always been happy with the overall look I achieved it was just not the knotting part...I tried pulling it through the fabric into the filler but it seemed like my stitches didn't stay nice and tight...perhaps stuffing a little harder into the feet (hmmmm)...I'll give it another whirl.
I will definitely try your technique Jenny...
Thanks again!!!
Hi Chrissie....good to see you back!!! ![]()
Oh good grief...call in Captain Obvious...sometimes I swear if things were snakes I'd get bitten.
Thank you....now I feel completely stupid...
Awwww....what a darling little kitty. I have never heard of a kitten changing color so extreme. I have seen them lighten or darker from their original color.
Cute cute cute
I've read several methods for created pulled toes and the like and I'm missing something...what is the best way to hide the anchoring stitch. I have a few artist bears that have stitched toes or pulled toes and a couple of them are so nicely done (yes, that would be you Paula & you Jane) that you can't even see or find the entrance or exit points.
I've tried several methods and perhaps I'm being too picky but I'm never quite happy with that particular part of the technique (entrance & exit).
Any tips ladies, gent!!!
Cute...they do look like an adorable little beary couple!!!!
PS....Lucy Jane is a Silly Bear....by our dear Aleta!!!!
I always love your spirit of taking the bad and somehow finding the good. I cannot begin to tell you how many times I've read your words and felt ashamed of my own wallering in self pity.
You are truly a blessing to this world dear Dilu...
Big beary kitty hugs to you,
Shantell
BLEEEEEEEEEECHHHHHHHHHH!!! You're not letting those brats from other side of the tracks come and visit are you? I don't care what you say...they are NOT my siblings!!!!

I don't have any great captions....but LOOK HOW BIG HE IS? Has his fur gotten alot darker? Oh my goodness...he doesn't even look like the same little sumo wrestler who left house not that many months ago.

Awww...Sweetie, I so understand the blues. I've been feeling them myself lately. Just the other day I was in what I referred to as a "wickedly foul mood" so I went online and was just looking at some of my favorite ecard sites and decided to send cards to some of my favorite people (the ones who I actually HAD emails for) and just the act of sending notes to others and making THEIR day somehow cheered me up. Then, I started getting emails back and phones calls which was just the icing on the cake.
Hugs to you, my friend,
Shantell
You are a much nicer person than me...I'd tell him to make it himself!!!
I'm a hard hearted cow aren't I?
I'm sorry...but I'm with you, Jenny.
Mooooooooo!!!!
It's so very quiet here this morning. What's everyone busy doing? I am baking Halloween sugar cookies, the kind with frosting on them. We are sending them to nieces & nephews in Arizona and giving some to my own three GROWN children. Then, I'm going to either paint pumpkins or carve them...haven't decided...maybe both.
And, start on a new bear...and trip over cats!!!
So...what are your Sunday plans?
Thanks Dilu, Aleta & Daphne...I really wasn't looking for more compliments just wanted to share how thoughtful this particular collector was and how it just makes ME want to do more and continue to grow.
Daphne, dear, I'm so sorry to hear the little dumplin's are such taskmasters...but I so understand!!! As far as the photography...new camera...top of the Christmas Wish List...but I suspect I'll have to buy it for myself.
Kitty Hugs,
I received this today in my email from a new collector with a very sweet note. It just completely made my day. Selling is the part I really dislike and I get frustrated, disappointed and often wonder why I'm doing this but little things like this make it all worthwhile for me.

Thanks for letting me share!!!
Shantell
Oh Gemma, that is truly wonderful news. Congratulations!! I would be higher than a kite if I were you!!!
Hugs,
Shantell
Hi Debbie,
Yes, you can delete multiple messages at once. If you scroll down to the very bottom of the message page you will see a link on the bottom left that says "delete multiple messages." When you click on it, it puts little boxes next to each message and you can mark them and then hit delete...it will ask you to confirm that you want to delete them. You have to do it several times to delete all the pages.
THEN...you have to do it again from your SENT box. For some reason you will find all those messages you JUST deleted in the sent box. After you delete both the IN & SENT...your message folder should be good as new.
Have fun...housekeeping!!!
Penny, do you want us to add our banner here...or just text links so you can easily grab them from one place?
Either way...
Please add me too!!!
Awwww...it's really no big deal. My view is that they didn't ask to be here or be dumped into a world to fend for themselves. When I first moved here, my little old neighbor man (he's 80) was shocked that I had started feeding the white cat, Surrender. He proceeded to tell me how he had tried to kill it several times without luck...well, he got a piece of my mind needless to say. Funny thing...HE is now feeding the barn cats at his house and even feeds mine when I go out of town. He's an ornery ol' thing with a huge heart just had to be all tough about it.
I was almost able to pet Surrender this morning. He's such a mess and can hardly see. I knelt down directly in front of him this morning about two feet away and he just talked and talked to me for the longest time. I'm sure he was telling me some "big fish" story. Poor old cat....
