Hello,
Here is my latest creation, Furry Friend.  He's a simple little teddy that is very soft and cuddly.  Furry Friend is available on my website, www.eTeddys.net

Hugs!

I haven't had much time to look on TT lately.  So, I had a few minutes tonight and my son came in and peeked at the new creations too.  He really likes your elephant a lot.  But, he says  you should make one with no flowers in the ears. Boys, what do they know?  I think the fabric in the ears is what makes this elephant.  She is VERY cute!

Great Job.  I really like the chipmunk in your gallery.  It's very cute!

Susan,
Any kind of advertising in a publication will help get your name out there.  The best way to attract customers is with a picture of your work.  Advertisements are expensive, so you'll have to weigh the cost.

Christina,
Your site looks great.  Your cats are so HUGE!  I love the way their hair matches your hair color.

Your work is very deserving of the nomination.  It's fabulous.  Great job!

I have made a donation to sponsor the bird.  Hopefully, I will get updates.  I did ask that it be released in my neighborhood if possible.  They said that if they thought it was a good location, it would be possible.  I'm thinking it's a pretty good location since they are living and breeding here.  They are really amazing birds.

kestrel.jpgI just dropped this little guy at the wildlife rescue.  It is a kestrel.  Anyhow, it's in very good hands now and it will soon be transported to a foster home.

Becca,
Your website looks great.  I really like the black and white theme.  It's very clean and uncluttered looking.  Great job!

Hi guys,
It seems like forever since I've been on Teddy Talk.  We've been so busy with activities with the kids.

My neighbor called me this morning asking if I knew of a bird rescue because a baby falcon fell from it's nest in her yard.  I had to walk over and take a few pics.  We've been watching momma for months, hunt our street.  I believe she is a peregrine falcon.  I hope that the rescue comes and gets her baby soon!  When they do, I'm going to ask if my family can sponsor it and if they can release it back into our neighborhood.  I'm keeping an eye out for it meanwhile.  We have a crazy neighbor who has 19 cats that she allows to roam freely.  I don't want this baby to be breakfast.  Isn't it the cutest???

Great site!  I especially liked that you explain where mohair and alpaca comes from.

Oh, I had forgotten about that song!  Thanks for sharing.  I believe that you have the Waylon Jennings version on your blog.  But, I can recall from my childhood that a woman sang the song.  I can't believe that you've never heard it!

Jane,
I would say it's worth listing internationally.  You just need to be upfront about shipping costs and any possible taxes that collectors may incur.  Here in the USA we can estimate shipping on our postal website.  I would weight your bear, add a few ounces for shipping materials and give a shipping estimate for International shipping.  I always note that it is a shipping estimate and ask that collectors email for a more accurate shipping quote.

Hello,
I have added your banner and a link to my website.  I will send my information privately.

Thanks everyone.  I doubt I could ever duplicate this color again.  It was a complete accident and not what I intended!  I'm happy to announce that Surprise already found a new home!

This is Surprise a one of a kind teddy.  I created him from hand dyed mohair whose color turned out surprising.  Thus, his name.  The pattern is a brand new design.  He's a bit chubbier than bears I've been making lately and he has great big paws.  Surprise is listed on Bear Pile.

Miriam,
What about Bear Pile?  I don't think there are any restrictions on listing and it's a set fee no many how many listings you have.  http://www.bearpile.com
There is another auction site called The Teddy Patch as  well.

I hope this helps.

Thanks again Marlys, MJ & Susan.  If this one sells, it will probably be one of the hardest bears to pack and ship.

Thanks ladies!  I designed this pattern about 3 years ago.  I usually reserve them for special gifts but decided to give selling them a go.  I'm hoping that they are received well by collectors.

Melissa,
I am so jealous!  I've been volunteering at a horse rescue for a while and I recently got a job as barn help in exchange for lessons.  My goal is to get a horse by the time I'm 40.  I sure hope bear business picks up so I can do that.  These guys are so lucky to have a new home.  Enjoy them.

Caroylyn,
This machine looks very similar to mine.  Mine is not full size machine, but bigger than a featherweight.  Miine was in a cabinet and is made in Great Britain.  Bottom line, if it's an old singer in good condition, it's going to work great!  Will you have an opportunity to try it?  I think the color is great and if the price it right, I would snag it in a heart beat!

Hugs,
Alison
