Hey Jodi, keep your head up. It will all turn out in the end.
Today I saved a little bird with my 2 daughters. This little bird got himself inside of our outdoor lights. Don't ask me why he would fly in there! Anyways, we had to hunt around for a drill to take the top off the light to let the little bird out. He was so cute and so frightened so I sure he's thrilled to be free again!!
Summer has been hot in Calgary and I have no air conditioning, but I'm enjoying my time with my daughters.

I know it sounds silly but I do sometimes adopt bears just because they share the name of someone close to me. A bear with a great name, just seems to give that little extra something and that personal feel before you adopt.

Hello Jodi - thanks again for the wonderful comments!! And I did understand what you meant - not to worry. 
I would be thrilled if you would take them to shops in your area to see if they would like to carry any of the cards from BEARS... Strike-A-Paw. The more help the better at trying to get the cards out there. I plan on hitting the shops here in Calgary starting in September, after the summer break, and sending info to other stores around the globe, but I do not know all the shops. One person can only do so much so any help would be muchly appreciated. I'd really like to see these cards take off as it would greatly help advertise Artist Teddy Bears.

I am going to be talking to stores in September to see if they would like to carry any of the cards from BEARS... Strike-A-Paw (photographed by myself and you). If anyone knows of some good teddy bear shops that might be interested in carring the greeting cards please let me know. I would like to get them on as many continents as possible - this means better advertising for you and the bears.

I picked up Bracken yesterday and absolutely love him!! He is just so cute... 
I wish he was mine but I know he must come home after his photo shoot. I hope to get to his pictures this weekend. Does anyone have any ideas for a scene that they would like to see Bracken in for November?
