Matilda, you sure had a fantastic idea, my hits have doubled overnight
Ta Matilda, had clicks already
BUT how do I get a piccie to appear like you and Katie have????confused
Its ok, its just come up..................must be a little time delay
I am not sure Shelly
It reads as though, if you don't leave detailed seller rating, then its ignored in the seller calculation
The system came into play in Feb 08, I don't have a DSR rate yet, so I am assuming that some of my buyers have ignored the DSR system.
When it comes to buying, I always add the price to the shipping for a total too
One thing that did occur, you have no way of knowing when your DSR is above 4.1 unless you check it every day........................for example: Most of us will be on a yearly system (as we don't sell more than 10 per 30 days) So if you had a star value of 3 given in Feb then it will take til Feb 09 to clear, now if you then had a 3 in October and that then stopped you listing, you wouldn't have to wait til October to list but Februray as the first 3 would be removed then..............hope that makes sense...............as you don't know when you got a "lower"!! star rating then you can't guess when you can list again but it will be at least Feb 09 from now
Sorry if you guys had worked this one out just trying to be helpful
I have to admit, I adore ebay too but I am not sure that we are welcome anymore I too found artists bears this way but what is the diference from ebay to bid4bears, none that I can see
As for having more than one account, you can but in the rules of "stars" if you are blocked from listing you cannot open another account
Sorry at work so typing fast, hope this helps
God love that
Yes lets fight back, I loved Bid4bears, good price but it just doesn't have the footfall YET, but it could
Karen this all sucks, I understand you aren't allowed to open a new ebay account, ebay blocks it
I really do feel for you, for a long time now I have thought that the "shipping" star will be the downfall of us all, alot of buyers do not realise the cost of sending bears, I for one never check the postage cost on an item I have purchased when it arrives and leave feedback days later, when all thoughts of the weight, size etc has been lost, so when it comes to me giving the shipping star, I usually think "was it expensive"...................therein lies our problem, yes it was, not cos we fleeced the buyer, but because it was, just that, expensive and ELLEN has just made another very valid point about shipping re customs
I have to admit to leaving 4, thank god it was for a seller of multiple items, who would not have suffered from my 4
Karen is the first, it will not be long before more are frozen out, the stars are starting to kick in, time wise. My feedback is at 11 but my stars are not at 10 yet, once that happens, my average will probably slowly go down, as Karen's has, I am sure some of you are edging for 4.1 on shipping now, so...
(do not want to step on toes) The big guys GET TOGETHER, choose a listing site, and the rest of us smaller guys will follow, publise it wherever, whenever you can, websites etc Those that are still listing on ebay, put a note on your website that states this is the last ebay listing, the traffic to your website from an ebay listing is good, so lets use it. It will be slow but if you removed all TTr's from ebay, look at the impact, surely collectors will wonder where we have all gone
Ebay is a huge organisation, yes but collectively we are HUGE as well
Us little guys, have not got enough clout but you guys have
Don't mean to step on toes but we are at the point we all need to act
    Thinking of you
How aweful...............I have just looked on ebay in help for some info and this is what I found
To ensure a minimum performance standard from all sellers, eBay requires sellers to maintain at least a 4.3 average for each DSR (Item as described, Communication, Shipping time, and Shipping and handling charges).
Sellers with one or more DSR below 4.3 may be subject to lowered standing in search results.
Sellers with one or more DSRs below 4.1 will be restricted from listing until their DSRs improve.
This average is based on ratings from the past 30 days unless a seller has less than 10 DSRs for that period. In this case, eBay will evaluate DSRs over the past 12 months instead.
Can someone explain to me how the HELL you are suposed to improve your DSR when you have been restricted/prevented from listing?????????
Hi Julie (Pearl Button Bears)

We (Ellen & I) started a bit on the wrong foot (MY FOOT by the way) way back when........................but we both proove that misunderstandings can be unravelled and sorted, if all parties take a step back and try to understand each other.
Shelli
Yes, because I know who you are. And if you disappoint me, I know how to ask why you did. Ask you... ask myself. Because maybe -- just maybe -- the disapointment isn't yours to own.
Very very profound, love it

Pam
What a great piccie, one can only assume a bag of sugar lumps (is that what horses like) was in the bottom of the tree................it was great to read that the horse's escaped with only a few very minor scratches
As for all the other bit, I am sorry that you feel attacked, I too have stuck my neck out in the past and had my head bitten off, so from one headless chick-a-dee to another............
Paula, I am in total agreement with you, everyone is entitled to an opinion and the freedom to express that, its just very sad that a member has felt the need to issue an apology and bow out of TT, especially as in my opinion, they were one of the nice guys on here for Dilu
So am I and Joanne, would it be poss to see some of your daughters Barbies as well

Do you know Karen, as soon as I typed the Barbie bit I remembered a TT'rs fabulous piccie of her customised Barbie, fantastic.............I just searched its Tami, gypsy Barbie
I think this maybe the way to start, its affordable, easy to get hold off, I will do just that search........................................................somehow I thought this was her project  humph
Where should I search.............ebay, google!!! You know I new you guys would have answers, your all the best
[img][/img]
Dilu yes those are the expensive b****rs, this is the style she likes, its amazing you buy eyes wigs and outfits, paint the face and hey presto done
These dolls are soooooooo expensive to buy customised, I am tempted myself, I understand they are just starting to pick up momentum here in the UK
Ideally I would like to buy her about 6 cheap (really really cheap) dolls to experiment on but the only ones I can think of are Barbies etc which are hard plastic and would not paint well
Karen, thanks so much, I have found "denofangels", I told her she had to do the searching on that
Thanks for the tip on 27cm ones, I did have a peak on ebay.com at dinner but what a large catagory, just have to keep my eyes peeled
