Thanks for the reminder Shelli. I meant to post my picture and then promptly forgot!!
Ellen, Iam sorry to hear that you arm is in a splint! That's a hard way to try and grow some nails!!
Terrie ~ ME TOO! That's why I treat myself to acrylics. I work 40 hours, then fix dinner and clean and make teddy bears. I'm not a clothes horse, I don't smoke, do drugs, or have any other habits or vices. So I have my nails done. Takes 45 minutes every other week.
That is a good idea, Deb! I hadn't thought of that!!!
This is an interesting thread! I can't think of anything that people don't know about me because I am also pretty much an open book.
I like nearly all vegetables, except brussel sprouts, they are just plain gross!
I like chocolate but I LOVE ice cream!
I like most of the reality TV shows especially the singing Idol ones like American Idol & Canadian Idol and if we could get ones from other countries I would watch those too.
I am fortunate enough not to have any major health problems. The one problem that I do have is that I bite my fingernails and at the age of 54, I don't think that I will grow out it any time soon. This has become an even bigger problem because it is really hard to photograph tiny bears and keep my ugly hands out of the picture!! I could sure use a hand double ..... any offers?
What a sweetheart!! I would keep him too!!
Wow! that is quite a buy! I wonder what they had to pay for postage???
I make the initail shape of the nose by doing a couple of stitches in the middle, then I make the outside stitches and then fill it in. I also go in at the top and out at the bottom. I find it a lot easier on my hands to used pliers to pull the needle through.
Great photos, Fran! and yes you do have some colorful characters in your past. Your great great grandmother must have been a woman ahead of her time. People in those days usually just put up with their lives the way that they were. It would have taken a lot of courage for her to leave her husband and babies and start a new life for herself.
I agree with all of the above! Thankyou Jane, without your notices, I know that I would miss all of the birthdays
Wow! They are both great avatars!! You do a wonderful job of those Shelli!
Way to go Helen!!!! Congratulations! It is an awesome feeling when one sells.
Dilu, if you already have crochet hooks you should be able to do a search and find out what the equivelant US size is. My hooks have both sizes marked on them and the smallest that I have is 0.75 which is also marked US 12. There should be conversion information on the net somewhere.
That is a great idea, Fran and the picture is beautifully done.
Wow! Very nice Marion! He is wonderfull!
Marion, he is precious!!!
She really is gorgeous!
Very cute!! At lease he is all tied up in the lights so he won't be too much of a threat!
Shari, I am also so sorry to hear about the pain that you are having. I worked on concrete floors for quite a few years and absolutely could not stand by the time that I got home. The one thing that really helped was a hot bath with epsom salts in it. I am also on well water and you only need enough water in the tub to cover your legs. It is well worth the amount of water that it takes. I also found that MSM really helped. I sure hope that you find something that helps you soon.
Thanks Dilu, for the alphabet exercize! I have just been doing circles and figure 8s but the alphabet would be better.
That is too bad Jenn. When I can't sleep, I find that reading a fiction novel helps.
He is adorable!! I hope he does really well for you!!
He is adorable!!! He does look like a sweet little baby bear.
Deb, all I do is place the legs and arms on the body before I turn any of the pieces right side out. You can get a good idea how different placements will look and then just mark where you want the holes to go.
That looks great, Fran. I am going to have to get brave and try it.
It's nice to "see" you again , Louise!
The sun shining on the frost and snow is very pretty. How cold does it get there, Estelle? Won't the ice damage your boat?
