Hi, I wondered if anyone could give me any advice.I have just had a lady contact me and she is opening a new teddy bear shop in New York called Janes Attic. She would like to have some of my bears in her shop which is great, but could anyone tell me the discount that you offer to shops? What seems to be the going rate these days?
I have never sold to shops before as I have never really needed too, my bears seem to find new homes well. But I quite like the idea of having a few bears for sale in New York, Any advice would be great.

Ahhh they are silkie bantams, I used to have lots of pet ones, Here is a really old photo that I found out, that was taken years ago.This is me and Babaloo. They were the best pets ever, Babaloo thought she was a dog and used to come in to house to lay her eggs.

Sue ,I think you have just hit my problem right on the head, I think that it's time that I lack, I just don't get enough time. What with my daughter and trying to keep house and all of the other boring every day jobs that have to be done.I feel that my time could be better spent making bears than making beds!!

Is it just me or does anyone else admit to having an addictive personality.I have to stop smoking for health reasons and i am finding that even the thought of it fills me with dread.I know that I can and I know that it will be hard , but i must do it. (would just like to add that i do not smoke in the house or near my bears and wash my hands before I start to make my bears) But smoking aside,
I find that i am the same with bear making.If I miss one day when I haven't so much as lifted a needle i find myself having withdraw symptoms.I start to get restless and itching to get on with my bears.I wish that I could sometimes just have a rest and do something else, just for a day, but I find that If I am not making bears I am thinking about new designs or new things to try.Some times i drive myself mad.  
Is it just me or does anyone else get like this? Someone please tell me i am not alone here!!! :crackup:  :crackup:

Your show bears are great, really lovely,you must be working really hard.    
I have only made 1 bear for the show, oh dear, i got the idea that it was one bear each.
I don't know why i had that in my head or where it came from.now i feel a little silly.
