Wow...too bad your stuck like that. We have had just as much snow, but we are so used to it...we have lots of snow removal equipment. We were snowed in for 1 day, then they plowed us out, just ready for the next storm . I live right between the Great lakes, near Niagara Falls in Ontario. We usually get lake effect snow, so we get dumped on!! I couldn't imagine not having the snowplows on the job!
Have a wonderful Christmas...in spite of the heaps of snow!!!

Congratulations! A new grandbaby for Christmas, how awesome!
So sad that this happened to you, but good you didn't get hurt. There are some real mean people in this world. Too bad these jerks don't get caught the first time they do this. They get more daring with every "successful" robbery. The law isn't tough enough... these crimes hurt everyone.
Have a wonderful Christmas anyways!
  Too funny!
Wow! I'm glad you're ok. I know we occasionally get an earthquake in southern Ontario, but it's pretty rare. It really feels wierd when it happens! My brother and his wife are in southern Sweden, I'm waiting to hear from them that they're ok.
I think your joint parts should look like the picture. The disk with the pin sticking out should go in the limb, through to the body. On the inside of the body, use the other disk and then the washer. If you have strong hands, you should be able to push the washer on fairly tight, and then use a thread spool or something else to slip over the pin and push it tighter, placing the other side on a table.
If you use safety eyes, it's really the same process to install them, just on a larger scale. Just make sure it's as tight as you can get it.
I hope this helps!
OK, in my understanding, a reborn doll is one that is made from an existing doll, but reworked with more realistic details... wouldn't that be like us teddy bear artists taking someone elses bear, and reworking it to make it more realistic??? Is this art or...??? I know it is creative, but it's not really the makers "original" work...is it? Anyone else have an opinion on this?
