what wonderful news - you must be so relieved and HAPPY! We had one of our cats go missing a couple of months ago - she was only gone from the Monday evening till early Sat morning, and boy, was she THIN and starving when she returned - I can imagine that yours will need a LOT of feeding up...six weeks is a hell of a long time!

thanks for posting the link....it was fun to watrch the Hove video...tho' a long wait till I saw KiXXi being carried about by all and sundry....and now I know what Kirste was on about when she said that next time I come over to England she would lure me down to her TV studio!!!
Well - good for you - will be fun to become a TV bear artist star....but I'm someone who hates even being photographed, so I don't think you'll ever see me there!

I am in complete agreement with what everyone has said - your wee bear just radiates quality - the green blobby is NO competition!
Having said that, I really sympathise/empathise with what you felt - being ripped off like that just leaves a sick, angry and helpless feeling. It's happened to me too, and I was reassured to realise that it doesn't go un-noticed among fellow bear artists....one can only hope that Ms. Copycat will get a few "cold shoulders" from them!
I think that bear "people " DO look after each other's interests - I came across a good example a few years back when someone (an acquaintance- I can't call her a friend) turned up at a bear show with bears made from other peoples patterns, which she presented under her own name....and even photocopies of patterns which she had then made up into kits - it wasn't long before a posse of FURIOUS artists confronted her - and she hasn't done a show since!
So - Kim - don't feel bad - just keep on making your delightful bears!!
