Kim,

I don't think your code is long enough, it should look more like:

["url=http://search.ebay.com/_W0QQfgtpZ1QQfrppZ25QQsassZkbonsallQQs]kbonsall[/url]

I went to you ebay sellers page and cut and pasted the code, it had lots more code on the end though, so you may want to cut and paste it yourself and put it in between the [url]s - hope I making a little sense here:D

It took me a while but I got the right code in the end!

clare14

Yeah!!!!   Took me a while but YEAH!!!   Shari, I found Kirsten's instructions the easiest - THANK YOU Kirsten!!:D

I went to the one Shelli and Daphne said, the BBCode, but got a bit lost  - it doesn't take much:rolleyes:!!

Thanks so much for your help all!!

clare14

I've just notice that all your ebay ID's are highlighted, and when I click on them, they go to your ebay selling page.

Mine doesn't (typical!!), what do I need to do to create that link??

clare14

Aww that's a shame Kirsten - but at least you're closer than many of us, and there's hope for a future visit!!;)

clare14

Oooh Shantell!!   Gorgeous, you must be so proud!!

Actually, the male in the photo looks the spitting image of my husband's cousin, it's uncanny!!   They say we all have a twin somewhere - heaven help mine - poor woman!!

Thanks for sharing!!;)

clare14

Danni, Rose is beautiful!!   I love that fabric!!

clare14

Oh you guys!! :)

I really appreciate all your kind words.   I have decided NOT to embark on new designs before my show and concentrate on my good old faithful patterns for it instead!!:D

If I carry on the way I'm going I'll have nothing on my table!!

Those of you reading posts a while ago MAY remember me telling you about having two disasters (in a row in fact!).   The first one being a white bear and me getting carried away with a lilac copic, had to throw her away - she was frightening the kids!!   So sorry, no photo's of her, she'd have only given you all nightmares!!:lol:

Anyway, onto the next - hopefully picture to follow, trouble from start to finish in fact, the mohair was horrible, got to be honest, my machine wasn't happy sewing it, things went from bad to worse - poor thing!!

But I thought rather than throwing this one out, I'd experiment on her - sounds very cruel, but it was only some needle sculpting (haven't done a lot of that) and eyelids, well top ones, Shelli I envy your skills for that tough job!!   And I thought I'd try my new paints too.   They aren't as dark on the bear as in the photo!!

I'm gonna keep her for reference, and if I need to try something else................
bear118a3ct.jpg

I've had a great time 'messing around!!';)

clare14

I had this happen a few times with other patterns, it's so frustrating!!!

I make sure the gusset is LONGER than it needs to be at the neck end, then I just trim off what I don't need!!:)

clare14

I'm so glad you feel better today Dilu:D

clare14

Shari, amazing bear!!  I wouldn't know where to start with the mouth - please tell!!:)

clare14

I made all my heads first, then did all the noses then all the eyes etc.......

I was making them all for the same person so didn't have to break in between making them, I think I would have found it hard too if I hadn't done them all together.:/

I was never so pleased to get a job done!!!:o

clare14

I only do 'One of a Kinds'.   I think it's more personal  for the collector, and as a collector I like the fact that I have the 'only one' like this!!

I too would get BORED:o if I had to repeat the process over and over again.   Besides I've more ideas than I can fit into a lifetime anyway..............I must start writing them down!!!

clare14

He's fabulous!!   WOW!!!   You must be sooo proud - well done!!!

clare14

Ooooh that's lovely!!   What a wonderful thing to do, you must be sooo pleased!!

clare14

Oh what a cutey-pie!!   LOVELY colour!!  Brilliant!! Well done!!

clare14

Way to go Danni!!!;)

clare14

Dilu, Dottikins is amazing!!  Lions and tigers and bears oh MY!!!!!   That's gonna be in my head all day!

clare14

Have you seen 'Basting a bear with Staples' in Tips and Techniques??   I think bear_rolleyes Laura posted some photos showing how it's done.   It makes basting a breeze, and then the staple unbaster tool removes them - it's brilliant!!   I use mine all the time!!:)

clare14

Oh how wonderful!!  Let us see - pleeeeease!!!

clare14

I have been reading all the posts about shading over the last 2 days, and today went out to purchase some oil paints..........picked up the wrong box and ended up with a box of acrylics (typical me - doh!!)   I think I may be ok reading this thread though, I'll try anything after the 2 disasters I've just had with markers!!!   :mad::o

At least I remebered the paint brushes!!!

clare14

Hi Rita,

You're so right!!   I'm so frightened I'll break it!!  I did make sure I said to the shop I bought it from that I would be sewing fur on it, and they said they sew fur on it too, but you know, are they just trying to sell it to me?!  I'm so gullible:rolleyes:

I have got a treadle machine (I love that!) and an electric Bernina, so if I find the problem continues I shall revert to them.   I'm not exactly very knowledgeable on sewing machines, that's probably more the problem!!   I've always sewn by hand, but am enjoying making bigger bears at the moment so the sewing machine comes in handy.   I'll get it in the end.................;)

clare14

One of my bear designs is a standing up bear, hopefully a pic below..............!
autumn6qu.png

I use nut and bolt joints (which are NOT my favourite things:mad:) in just the legs on this bear, which are done up really really tight.   Of course, this bear isn't intended to sit down, the proportions look hilarious when it is!!!

I always weight the legs and the lower body well to let gravity do it's bit too!!
