The color is gorgeous. Did you hand dye the fabrics? Very pretty.

Amber,
Oh, I feel like Winston today! As for selling only one bear, no worries. That happens to me ALL the time at shows. Sales are slow, but then I come home and people that were at the show call and email and buy. I look at shows as a marketing tool. You get your and your bear's faces out there. They are well worth the time and money spent even if sales are lack luster.
Hugs,
Alison
Your noses are always spectacular but this is the best nose I have seen to date. So perfect !

Well, he now has a name thanks to some Facebook friends, Bogart. It seems to suit him.

Raewyn,
Congrats to you and your hubby. I think that you can love someone a long time but liking them and enjoying their company is really the key. I hope you enjoyed your evening as much as we did!
Hugs,
Alison
I finally got on Teddy Talk today. Thanks for all of the well wishes. We're celebrating 19 years of marriage! And, I still LIKE him. When I got in my car this morning, there was a red paper heart that he had cut out that had a note on it. My hubby is very sweet and thoughtful and a real keeper! We went out on Saturday so tonight we stayed in and I cooked. I made his favorite dessert, creme brulee. We played Scrabble with the kids and I won. It was a nice quiet evening but I got NOTHING done today. I must get back to work tomorrow.
Hugs,
Alison
Thanks everyone. I think she already found a home before the show. I will know for sure tomorrow.

Alison
Beautiful combination of fabrics!

I love the expressions on your new designs. When I ask my son to smile for a picture, he does this little closed lip smile that looks like these bears. They are adorable!

Shanna,
I can't say that I can ever recall getting the backing wet after the bear was done. But, I did just test sharpie on fabric and got it wet. It didn't bleed at all. Something you can make sure to do in the future is when you cut, cut just inside the tracing line so that you are cutting away all of the ink. I have another idea just in case the alcohol or hair spray doen't work. Instead of shading all of the seams, what about shading the stain? Get some acrylic paints and mix it so that it is the same color as the backing. You could pull the mohair away and dab it onto the backing, then heat set it with a hair dryer.

Oh no! What kind of pen did you use to trace? I always use permanent Sharpie and have never had problems with it bleeding. Depending on what kind of ink it is, hair spray does work. I've used it many times but usually on ball point pens. Let us know what works if anything.

Alison
