ok, this is my last question (for today bear_tongue )!

What do you use for sewing up the seams of your mini bears?  Do you use the same sewing thread as you used for sewing up the bear?  Do you use ladder stich the same as with larger bears? Do  you use really tiny stiches in order to not be shown?

Thanks so much for all your help

Hi Catherine,

On all of my bears (including my minis) I ladder stitch with invisible thread ( )...no really, it's called invisible thread as it's see-thru!

HI Catherine,

I use the same thread that I sewed with... but I make my minis in mohair.  Since the ladder stitch hides the threads I've had no problem  bear_original

I use the same thread...the Sassy spool thread....and ladder stitch. Done properly it doesn't show.

Me too, I like Sassy's thread.

If I'm using upholstery velvet or rayon, I use invisible thread and for mohair bears I use the superlon beading thread or this nice fine sinew that I have (it's white not the natural colored stuff)

and yes I ladder stitch too
