a woman from the UK has emailed me and asked for a raffle item to help buy her daughter ( severly handicaped ) a wheelchair lift.
she is a bit far from me and its not a good time for me financially to do this after my husbands surgery etc,,,but i am wondering if its legit?

I get these all the time at my Teddy Bear Hugs site. It is possible that they are genuine but ever since I responded to one and sent a bear, I have been inundated with requests which I am having to turn down. It seems like I was put on some kind of list of people who would help for things like this so I would treat it with caution.

With best wishes.

Yep had the same one ... if you did it for everyone who asked, you'd be broke in no time!

I decided a long time ago to set my charities and keep to those, otherwise it just gets out of hand.
