Not trying to start another gripe session about ebay and all the changes but I just happened to notice that the feedback changes have taken effect....

Yeah I noticed that I would get a pop-up stating that the seller cannot give me negative or neutral feedback. Stupid stupid change. Not that I ever need to get negative feedback. bear_innocent

This is for UK TT'rs, ebay has removed all USA listings from ebay UK registered sellers in the Bear Artist section on the Uk site, hope that makes sense.
So, if you are a UK ebayer and have listed via USA ebay, you no longer show up on UK ebay as off this morning, well mine has disappeared bear_cry can't see a couple of other TT'rs bears either

Well I think that is what has happened, please correct me if I am wrong and don't shout at me, like Daphne says not stirring just letting everyone know bear_grin

Now you have to pay to be listed in the UK (10 - 40 cents I think).  I tried to upgrade my listing, but I can't find the option like they said I would.  bear_angry

I think this new feedback system is horrid.  I've been reading on the Seller Central board about it.

However they DID count ALL feedback now, instead of just unique ones, so my FB rating went up over 30 this morning.

As a seller I'm avoiding ebay like the plague.  As a buyer I went out last night and had a giggle over the way they are advertising the changes...big baby blue blocks that boast the "No matter what, no negative feedback for you" idea.

Then this morning I went to leave feedback for an item I just rec'd....this popped up!!  In a nice big yellow "warning" styled pop up block:

Important changes to Feedback
Buyers, you can no longer receive negative or neutral Feedback from sellers.

You should leave honest and accurate Feedback without the fear of receiving negative or neutral ratings.

Are you kidding me?  What, are they tempting people to say whatever they want because they can't get "retaliatory" feedback?  Ebay is NOT the place to be anymore, it just isn't.  I can't see a reason not to use Etsy at this point.  I've been out there all week (received 2 b-day presents from!) and it's just an amazing selling site for pure artistic creativity (it's not an online flea market.....my everyday feelings about ebay bear_whistle bear_grin )

I did notice the change yesterday when I left feedback.  I'm still going to browse and shop eBay.  It's a great place to find odd things!  As for selling though......geezie weezie....I haven't listed anything there in a very long time.  It would probably take me hours to write up a listing and input all the information on the form.  I guess I would have to try it again once to see if the cost of doing business with them is in line with what I'm doing now.

I have heard a lot about etsy.  Hmmmm.

Warmest bear hugs,
