I know that tibetan lamb hair has those wonderful curls to it. I want to use some because it is lovely and long. Does it brush out well so that the curls can be brushed out? I need something very long for some ears of a dog, but not curly.

Hi Therese!  I tried straightening some tibetan lamb and with brushing & ironing it, I got it fairly straight.  It still had some kinks in it though.  It took me hours & it was so much work that I don't plan on doing it again.  I hear there are some places where you can get a straight tibetan lamb fur, but I haven't found them yet.  Perhaps someone else has a source?

I'm looking forward to seeing your dog!   bear_thumb

I was going to suggest a pair of straightening irons, used for hair... I'm sure it would work but... Thinking about my own hair, after I straighten it, any humidity or getting it wet, does send it kinky or curly if wet.

Maybe try it and then wet it and see if it kinks back up again?

Just a thought
