We've all had mental blocks when it's come to naming bears.... many a post has been made seeking help with a name for a particular bear. We've shared our sources for names... baby name websites, books, movies, friends, food. I was thinking it would be great to have a topic we could refer to with JUST NAMES in it. One for Boy Bears, one for Girl Bears.

So..... anytime you think of a good name for a GIRL BEAR please add it here!

This probably is'nt going to be a lot of help but this is how i get a lot of the names for my bears - yes, of course it's silly but give it a try you may be pleasantly suprised!

What i do is........ bear_shocked

look at car number plates when ever i'm out - take all the letters and try and make a word out of them, add a few letters of course to make sense of it all and once you get the hang of it you'll be thanking me for the tip ha ha

An example of a car number plate is Pio Ama - don't you think that's fine? I do.

Try different ways of coming up with names but don't be suprised if yuo think you come up with a unique name only to find that another person has come up with it at almost the same time - it's that zeitgeist moment again!

I usually know exactly what my bear's name will be before he/she is finished.....funny I know, but I just do - I was the same with my kids, they are called Ermentrude and Englebert.....no just kidding!!!
