I have a project goal related to my new "mystery venture" -- it's not really all that exciting and I might actually really suck at it, but I'm having fun torturing you all with the secrecy part! -- and I'd love your help. This "mystery venture" of mine is entirely NOT bear related, but it IS a creative endeavor. I promise, I'll fill you in later on the details, when I get something finished. It's a somewhat long-term-ish project goal, so don't expect news back from me, like, THIS EVENING or anything. Maybe in a few weeks' time. Sound good?
Anyhoos... Here's the situation.
What I'm doing requires the use of clever color combinations.
What I'd like from you, my friends, and fellow creative types whose aesthetics I trust, is some ideas. I can figure out my own preferences, when it comes to combining colors, but sometimes the best work comes when thinking out of the box, as someone ELSE might do it. That's where you come in.
If you're willing to take a second, I'd like for you to write down a color combination of at least two, and no more than five, colors, that appeals to you. You can submit as many as you'd like. No promises from me that I'll use them all! I'm just looking for something terrific, that's not top-of-mind for me at this point.
As an example, you could write:
Turquoise
Coral
Chocolate Brown
... as one of your color combinations, featuring three separate colors.
Don't forget BLACK, WHITE, and CLEAR/TRANSPARENT!
Thanks for playing along! I'll check back in with you over the next weeks and let you know how I went with it!
hmmm sounds like fun...I wanna play, so here are my colors:

I think I'm brain dead - my mind is blank
The only one that comes to the top of my mind is:
soft yellow, light blue and white - makes me think of summer
Fun!
I have a guess at the mystery too, but will wait for the unveil!
I always tend to go for the "fall tones" or "foodie" combos....
~Caramel apples....that deep apple maroon, cooled caramel, and inside an apple cream, maybe a bit of greenish white/clear
~Always liked chocolate brown, pink and vanilla cream...like the neapolitan ice cream and candies
~Sponge cake yellow, strawberry red, and whip cream white (that's my kitchen scheme)
(Anyone else hungry yet? 10:30 pm and I'm about to raid the fridge now )
~Milk Glass Blue(creamy opaque) & Transparent Cobalt Blue
~"bright" would have to be a Gerber Daisy (pink)...The Pink and then the yellow and green toward the center of the Gerber....pink, green and yellow Gerber Daisy tones.
I took this picture a few weeks ago. I ran for my camera because I loved the red of the lady bug with the yellow of the daisy.
~The green, yellow, red and black are pretty cool together.
