Here's my first completely needlefelted bear.  He is 3-1/4 inches tall standing.  I thread jointed his arms and legs.

Patty, he is a cute little teddy, it is fun doing the needle-felting isn't it?

To see a little critter emerge from the fibre, it just amazes me...

Thank you, Dilu.   Yes I'm TOTALLY hooked now.  I've always wanted to sculpt and this is pretty close to it.  And, an unexpected benefit:  needlefelting is a great break for my aching hands.  Aching from sewing, since I've been sewing all my bears by hand.

Patty your bear is ADORABLE !!!!!  I love him , he looks so timid.   Great job.

I really thought I would love felting, but the more I do it the more frustrated I get.  I've made a few things, but unlike most of you I get impatient and tense up instead of finding it relaxing.  I've decided to put it away for awhile.     bear_sad

Thank you girls.  Encouragement is great !  Tammy, I hope you try NF'ing again.  Once you get the hang of it, it really is fun.  I just finished another bear and I'm thinking of my next one . . . after I finish the mohair bear I'm working on.  I have to try to stay focused or I'd have ten projects going at once and never finish any of them.
