Valentine-three-sitting.jpgThis is valentine my latest needlefelted face puddle. She can be found on Bears and friends as well.
She is only 4" when sitting. I thought that she was alot smaller and was quite surprised to find she is soooo big. bear_grin  I used NZ mid moorit halfbreed sliver for all the felting. I love this stuff it felts really quick.
Wendy

Thanks ladies!  bear_thumb
My photography as usual is crap. It is one thing I very much doubt I will ever get right.
I have been givn heaps of help on the subject but for the life of me, even though I understand what is being said I just dont seem tobe able to put it into practice.....sigh.......  maybe I should take all my pics outside and be done with it.

Totally agree on clever & color - You get so much motion/movement in very small ares!

NZ mid moorit halfbreed sliver

In all of those words, halfbreed is the only one applying to the actual breed. Does your producer know what breed crosses were used to breed this line?
Does it come completely finished - clean, dyed, etc?
Length of fiber? Just curious about this one as it's more difficult or takes longer to work a 5 - 6" fiber into a mini than it does a 3 - 4" one.

Bobbie, its grown on sheep in NZ and the mid moorit is the colour which is natural and yes it is cleaned and carded.  I have a dark moorit which is almost chocolate brown. Havent come up with a critter for it yet. bear_grin   Its felts up so quickly that I really have to keep a watch on it.
as for which breeds went into this line. Personally I dont know but if you wish I will ask.?
They specialise in wool fibre and have been a wonderful help to me.

Sorry Bobbie I cant be of more help. Speak to Anne she will answer your questions.

The silver hearts are wings. She has a regular puddle tail. Not a wise choice of pic I am  thinking. bear_grin
