I have a client that has decided he would like me to make a small bear (2 1/2 inches) for his wife for Christmas.  I have never made a bear this tiny.  What do I use for joints?  I am at a loss here, need some advise.  Thanks.

Hi Jo, when I create minis that small I string joint them.  I use the strong bead thread from Sassys and that works a treat.  Good luck bear_original

Hi Jo

I use cotterpins and fiberdics on 6mm for those tiny ones. I cut of some of the lenght on the cotterpin.
I think Sassy have some small ones.

I buy mine at www.probaer.de in Germany.
Good luck with that little one.

Thanks for your interest and help.  I think I do the string joints this time and if I enjoy doing minatures, I'll order what I need from Sassy's.

Yep, I would definitely thread joint for a bear this size.  Best of luck!
