Hi everyone,

I have been looking for a certain mohair for a while and have come to a stand still.  I am hoping, as this forum covers most of the world ( bear_grin ), that a member might be able to point me in the right direction.  I am looking for a medium/long pile purple or lilac mohair with black tips.  Can you help?

Many thanks

Is it present here maybe? I sew a little and do not know exactly what you mean.

Hi Conni,

What I am looking for is like the mohair on page 14 on http://www.reinhardschulte.de/en/katalog_mohair.html but purple with back ends - hopes this makes sense  bear_original

In the past Gerry's in Australia has had it.   Ten to fifteen years ago I got it from Edinburgh.  Edinburgh currently has a fat quarter they are calling Taupe with a black tip.  I can think of two artists that might have some.  How much did you need?

Thanks for your reply Donna.  A quarter would be great but I can work with an 1/8th as it is for a panda.  I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone might have a peice going spare.

Gerry's mohair that is out of stock is exactly what I was after www.gerrys.com.au/home.php?cat=162&catexp=162
