100D0389gabs.jpg100D0388gabs.jpgHi Everyone
I have Finally finished my first bear and her name is Gaby, I have named her after Gabriele of Gjoyful Bears whos help was amazing and without it I am sure my first bear would not exist.
I had a lot of fun with the scissor sculpting and even did some shading around her eyes, nose and muzzle as she was lookin a little "flat" so I tried to bring her to life and I think she turned out O.K.
i would love to hear what you think and welcome any comment so I can make my next bear better.

WOW
this fur ... for a first bear ... amazing !!!!
and i KNOW how hard this kind of fur is to work with ! ... you really really did a good job here.

the only thing i would change - or make better next time ... the ears are hard to see ...
so either i would make them bigger (2nd choice)
or shorten some fur from the cupping in the ear and in front of the ears (1st joice)

but thats really the only thing i would adapt ....

good job, it's not easy to trim long pile fabric, and your first bear is remarkable.

Thank you Betty, bear_wub
I have made six bears since this one, the last one being my first go at mohair but I have been so lazy because I haven't taken any photos of them yet, I will put it on my " to do list " also I am not good with computers so I have to get someone to put them on for me. bear_grin
