Oh Cyndee, you are so brave to share that with everyone....
Such a heartbreaking story - how ever did you cope? I've been looking into adoption as a result of no success with the "natural" family & it seems like a minefield in this country? I know it's just about impossible to adopt a baby &  the most needy children are older but I don't know if I could cope with the access & continuing rights that biological parents/grandparents/siblings seem to have now?
My heart went out to you when I read your story....

Just thought I'd let you all know that, for a change, I've had quite an amusing day....
Firstly I woke up to my birthday (the last of my thirty-something's) quite depressing you might think but no...
I WAS PRESENTED WITH A DIAMOND ENGAGEMENT RING!!!!
As a treat (Ha ha!!) I was then taken to Sainsbury's to do the weekly shop where I got lost & Mark phoned me on my mobile to find me & followed the ringtone.... He was still wandering round following the noise when I found him 10 minutes later with my handbag, complete with phone, in the trolley in front of him!! :crackup: 
We then decided to go for a nice meal to celebrate & have just arrived home at 9pm - quite early you might think?  Lovely meal in great restaurant with gorgeous food... oh & the arrival of my ex-husband who is placed at the very next table!!! OMG! Can my life get any better??!!
I'm now sat under a blanket like a ninety-year-old watching TV & sewing a bear. I think it's probably safer, don't you?

I have put Annie up for adoption on eBay (please see link beside)....
She's only tiny at just 3" tall when standing - not including her little wired, beaded & sequined antennae!
She's very excited!

Hi Alison,
I hope Tyler is feeling better today? Here in the UK they still insist on having the vaccination even if you've already had swine flu as it's still supposed to be a good idea. I've had Pleurosy as a result of flu many years ago & that's bad enough - pneumonia is worse. Poor little chap, I do so hope he's better soon & the excitement & magic of Christmas can bring him round to having a lovely time?

I think your site is great as it is! It's easy to navigate & has all the information you need... I have to ask what "make" Bingley is? I have a Lhasa Apso & a Shih tzu but we used to have a Tibetan Terrier too & I can't make out which make he fits into?!

Hi Katy,
I really enjoyed doing the stall, thanks! It was hard work but really enjoyable to talk to other artists & collectors who stopped by to say hello. As I've never been to a fair before, let alone the stall, I'm told it was really quiet? This was the only downside of the day but at least it gave Claire & myself time to visit all the other stalls while my poor Mark held the fort! I owe him a HUGE thank you as he helped me so much - I couldn't have done it without him!

I'm also officially IN LOVE with Katie Rae bears & found Katherine a real inspiration. I can't tell you how I resisted the temptation to part with even more of my money to her! Does anyone else have one of her little characters?

Hi All,
I have a stall & Wendy Sent a letter out informing that we can be there to set up as early as 7.30am!! The show is open from 10am - 4pm so I'm assuming the bears will need to be there during that time for judging? I'm sure it'll all become clear once we arrive?
I'm leaving home at 4am so I can't really go much earlier!! I'll be the one with the matchsticks in place to keep my eyes open lolling around behind my stall trying to stay awake!! Probably best not to come after 3.00 as I'll be under the stall catching up on my sleep!! :crackup:
So looking forward to meeting you all... Please come up & say "hello" if you can & I don't see you first? I'm on the first floor...

We had much the same story ourselves jsut over a year ago when we were flooded... It's soul destroying but have faith... everything happens for a reason & we're certainly stronger from what appeared to be a major misfortune at the time :hug:

It's my first time too so I'm a bit nervous aswell... I also have my first stall so I'm frantically trying to get everything ready although, to be honest, I don't know if what I'm doing is right??!!   Do you have a stall?
Try not to worry, it'll be lovely to put names to faces when we all meet up next weekend. I'm not looking forward to leaving home at 4am though!
