Rosie,a baby giraffe is one of my Biggie Felties,approx. 9"laying down. Softly sculpted natural wools over a wire armature with hand tinted colored glass eyes, individually applied eyelashes, hand shaded pastel and watercolor detail. She's wearing her favorite pink chiffon ribbon.

I agree w/ a lot of the comments regarding the URSA Awards.....It's definitely a popularity contest.  As long as you're aware of this going in...there's absolutely no reason to doubt your talent.It does get a lot of attention for all involved and Valerie does an incredible job. It's not my favorite approach to voting  but the end benifits are worth participating and hooray for anything that generates interest.

These little Sugar Gliders were wonderful to create.... a custom order. Was really excited about working w/ an animal I didn't even know existed....what fun! Approx. 3' by 8", softly felted over a wire armature. German glass eyes, individually applied whiskers w/ hand shaded detail.
