Wow, Heather . . . what a talent in sculpture you have!! And the tiny dragons and unicorn and everything!!! I'm totally impressed!

HA!! What a cute, cute photo, Lisa!! While I never put the camera on them when my kids were doing the same thing, it's a wonderfully realistic kid-like behavior. Talk about having your camera at the right time and right place!!
HA!! Heather, you don't consider yourself a craft person . . . yet will spend the day and money in a craft store???!!! Hmmmm . . . you need to rethink that one, Girl!

Oh man!!! You ladies are as great on other critters as well as bears!! ALL are just wonderful!
Ick . . . black fiberfill??? Good luck, Kiddo!
Oh gosh, Dilu . . . sorry the headache is back!!
Take care of yourself . . . hopefully you will be back soon!
Only 10:30pm here, Carolyn . . . I'll probably be up another 2 hours or so. Seems like I just hate to give up and go to bed 'cause there is another day of my life - - - GONE!!
Wow, Mark . . . Sabine Klett is a great person to be friends with . . . she's a superb bear artist! Congrats on going to the Schaumburg show - you'll love it and I hope you sell whatever bears you can take!
Carolyn, does Teddy Bear Scene have a website? A lot of the magazines have articles from the current issue online. Big congrats for that honor!!!
Marie . . . I buy scrapbook embellishments at craft stores and over the internet. Just Google "scrapbooking" and you'll come up with MANY sources for buying everything scrapbook!!!
YES . . . I can see everything now!! Wow, those babies are REAL looking! Great website!

Well, as long as we're putting people on our lists to think about, I'll add my mom. She is in the last stages of Alzheimer's and Parkinson's Diseases and 87 years old. She is in her ninth year of Alzheimer's and has been in hospice care for 1 1/2 years. We thought we were going to lose her in January of this year . . . she was rushed to the emergency room with severe bleeding and the dr. told us she MIGHT live two more weeks. She is still here, however, and if nothing else is going on inside her head, she does have some sort of tenacious ability to keep living. Probably most of you have had some dealings with Alzheimer's . . . it is an ugly, cruel disease and I hope that my sister and I are not in line to have it next. My mom's two sisters died from complications of Alzheimer's, so I'm very worried. I will be crying on y'all's shoulders if there ever comes a day that I can't work the daily crossword puzzle in the newspaper. That's my test as to whether my mind is still intact!!
Hayley, my mom is totally deaf in one ear and she wore a hearing aid in the other until about 5 years ago when it became unnecessary for her to hear.
Kerren, your bun is very cute . . . what a wonderful creation!!
And Daphne, the Wheaten is gorgeous, too . . . I'm sure Tucker is proud of you!
I was afraid we weren't ever gonna see any bears from you, Dilly!! Great ones!! And welcome again to you, Linda . . . . I LOVE your bear. He looks soooo real . . . just like your babies!!

Hey, Linda . . . a big welcome to Teddy Talk! I looked at your website and holy cow!!!! You are quite the artist!! Your babies are practically REAL! We're so glad you decided to get back to fur and join us on the board. Your new bear is wonderful and I look forward to seeing more! These are some of the other critters I've done besides bears. I like making bunnies from time to time and the kitty and doggie were made just because I wanted to copy my Spitz dog and Russian Blue cat.
I have a design that I put darts in on the side head pieces and it works pretty well. Actually you could put them in both places to round it up very nicely!!
That's a VERY nice page, Shelli. I don't scrapbook at all, but I LOVE, LOVE some of the embellishments . . . so I have bought tons of them for use on bears and just about everything else!! The bottle caps (necklace I have on Regan) are really cute, I think, and I got plain ones so I could use stickers on them. I have all sorts of "words" on metal strips that I use on my little paper mache photo boxes (with my bear photos on them). Anyway, I guess I use a lot of scrapbooking stuff without actually making scrapbooks. Sigh . . . I don't think I'll ever grow up or quit trying to do crafty stuff.
Just the ones I haven't read are. The block to the left of the topic is blue if I haven't read the last post on that topic.
Waaaaaay cool, Jane . . . thanks!

Yea for Louise and Jody!! Way to go, Girls!!!
Thank you, dear Dilu . . . we are SOOOOOO glad you are feeling better and back with us on the board!
Actually, I think darts would make the head rounder!
Daphne, of course we will listen when you or anybody needs to dump. Life is rarely fair for everybody and we all need to vent occasionally. Always know that you have supportive friends at Teddy Talk who - if nothing else - will lend an ear and heartfelt good wishes for better days. Hope there is an answer for your dad's troubles in the near future.
Shelli, go to page 12 (last one) in the General Discussion forum and about halfway down will be my topic "Standing Bear". Dale's instructions are on page 2 of that topic . . . but have your woodworking tools handy!!
Did the mag elaborate on that "fact"??? EEEEEEEEEKKKK!!!
