I was thinking about you today. I remembered you posted they were going to induce labor today. What a big beautiful boy! He beat me by one oz. I weighed 9 lb 1 oz at birth.
Very eyecatching! I watched your you tube video too. I am almost finished with the web design class on ebearz. I will be revamping mine just a bit. I don't think I'm ready for all the bells & whistles though.
I just got my ornament today! It's so beautiful I cried! Little Cupid is from Melissa Kemp of Happy Little Souls. I absolutely love him.
He came in a nice little box with his pic on it. Thank you soooooo much, Melissa!
Very cute. I forwarded it to some of my friends.
Love it! I needed a laugh.
My hubby is pretty good judging the mood swings just by looking at me. He knows when to stay out of the way.
You all look like you have a lot of fun! Wish we could all join in.
Some cards have started to arrive and I love the creativity. I always make my cards and now I have some ideas for next year.
Thank you

I have a friend that does web design. She tells me simple is better. According to her a lot of people are now accessing the internet with phones and other personal devices. A lot of bells and whistles can make it difficult for them to see much on your website.
This morning starts the Christmas Cookie Roundup on Lisa's Q D Patooties blog http://qdpatooties.blogspot.com Each blog has a link to the next for some great cookie recipes.
This year the star of my Christmas avatar is Lexi, my wirehaired Dachshund. I used the graphic to have gift cards made at Walmart too. My nieces & nephews love the doggie gift cards.
I use a scrapbook program and printshop to do a lot of my graphics.
I'm glad you like "Cherry" Wendy. I'm surprised at how fast she arrived!
Everybodys trees & decorations look so great! Almost as good as a home to home tour. I finally got mine up this week. The big white heart in the middle was a gift from hubby our first Christmas together. We decided to take turns adding a different heart ornament to our collection each year. We have built up a nice collection. I really like the crystal beaded icicles -they belonged to my mother-in-law.
I sent you my address on the 16th, Dilu. I haven't gotton any list. Is is being sent regular email or pm? Cards are ready to send.
Mine has begun it's loooong voyage!
Yesterday I pulled out some things I thought I might use. I went to sleep last night figuring out what to do. Tonight I start to put it together. Fun, fun, fun!
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas....
Anybody else participating please add sneak peeks.
I make a lot of dogs. Most of mine tend to be mixed. I have made Dachshunds(I used to breed them), Scottie, Westie, Jack Russell and recently a Pug. Mine tend to be more whimsical than realistic. I sometimes cut out pics from magazines and I have googled certain breeds to look at photos. I do have my basic pattern available on my site http://www.dogpatchcritters.com/dogpattern1.htm .
Well, it turns out it was a good thing I got mine done early. Jury duty all week then hubby's knee surgery next week. I can't wait to see the parade!
I actually found out about jib jab from a posting here. My hubby is having knee replacement Nov 12 so we thought we should have a last dance before surgery. I sent it to family and friends and most were rolling on the floor

I have a digital scale that goes up to 5 lbs. For anything over that I use a baby scale(up to 25lbs) that I picked up at a yard sale. For the most part you just need to know if it's under a certain wgt. For instance from 2 to under 3 is the same price depending on destination. If it's a big package they now have surcharges so you have to watch for that.
That is the thing I miss most about breeding dogs--litters of puppies. Watching them open their eyes, develop their personalites and the smell of sweet puppy breath.
Hi Jane,
I plan on visiting Idex as I live less than an hour from Orlando. I am in Titusville, near the Space Center. Last year I purchased my ticket in advance as "industry courtesty" because there was an early morning event with 5 bear artists discussing their experiences in the business. Karen Lyons and Deb Canham among others. It doesn't look like there will be anything like that this year so I might just go general admission. Maybe we can try to go the same day. You can check the schedule here http://www.idexshows.com/orl.home.php
Gorgeous cat. I have never had a siamese but I have known a few(worked for a vet for yrs). They have the most wonderful personalites and tend to be real talkers.
I'm ready to join in too!
Nancy
I like the bassett-only a bassett could carry that off.
