Another cutie.  I don't care who's pattern it is, all your bears are most definitely Booh Bears.  I see it didn't take long for someone to snag her up!

Thanks everyone.  One bad thing about selling through shops is that you don't know where your creations go.  Although some do contact me after they purchase.  That is always nice.

I was sent this link by a collector.  It's definitely worth watching.  Gosh, I wish I could train my dogs to decorate for me!

He's so cute.  It's no wonder he found a home so quickly!

Looks like he's ready to lead Santa's sleigh in a few weeks.  I wanted to comment on how good your photographs always are.  You're quite the photographer.

He's very cute.  Looks like he's wearing a pair of soft, fuzzy pajamas.

Here's another one of my very large bears paired with an old fashioned teddy in a stocking.  I made the old fashioned looking bear too, something really out of the box for me.  The stocking is made from mohair velvet with a kid mohair cuff.   I named the set "A Teddy for Teddie."  It is available exclusively through Dollmasters.

Cheryl,
My issue of Teddy Bear Review was in the mail today and Alfie looks great.  I"m sure he'll have a new bear mom soon!

Welcome Jolene,
I don't own any Charlie bears but have seen them.  They are certainly cute and more affordable than one of a kind pieces that most of us sell.  It's a great way to get into collecting.

I just wanted to remind everyone that the TOBY deadline is coming up quickly!  The deadline for digital submissions is December 14, and mailed entries must be received by December 18.  They are charging extra for digital entries so hurry and put  your stuff in the mail.  I thought I'd give everyone a heads up because last year I completely forgot and missed the deadline.  You can find the rules and entry forms on www.teddybearandfriends.com.

Hugs!

Michelle,
Glad you kitty is fine.  I have a funny story to tell.  My son came out of the bathroom this morning.  He had an odd look on his face.  He said, "Mom, I didn't tell you but, on Saturday, I choked on a Lego piece.  I coughed and decided I was OK because it went down.  I told Sissy and she said to just drink a lot of water.  But, don't worry, it came out."   bear_grin So, it's not cats that get in trouble eating things they shouldn't, my 13 year old son ingested a Lego piece.  This doesn't surprise me in the least.  I found a sizable rock and a penny in his diaper when he was a baby.  When will he grow up?

Cheryl,
From pictures, I always thought your bears were quite small.  I was surprised when I went to you BearPile listing that this bear is 20 inches!  He's really great!

Thanks for the Bear Basics tip!  I looked and they have the style I want but they don't go up to 16mm.  I guess I'm going to have to hand paint and try to match.

Hello,
I am working on an order for a shop and need 16 mm starburst eyes in hazel.  The supplier that I usually get them from is out of 16 mm.  Anyone have 2 pair that they are willing to sell me???
Please send an email as sometimes all the posts don't come through the filters on my email program.

Thanks,
Alison

Christine,
Those may be Betty Grable's legs but those are definitely MY FEET!    bear_grin   It took 2 openings to turn and put the hardware in those legs.

Thanks to all of you for your well wishes.  Antibiotics are a wonder aren't they!  I'm definitely back in the game now.  Whew!

Lisa,
I visited your blog and went to the web show.  Jeez could they have ironed the back drop???  Anyhow, despite the photography, I think the absolute cutness of your creations shines through.  Go ahead and do the show.  Who knows, you may find a new collector or two.  If they don't sell, they can send them back.  Perhaps in the future, you can ask if you can provide your own photography.

Hugs,
Alison

Hello,
Seems like forever since I've been on Teddy Talk.  I've been a little under the weather as I got an infection after my surgery.  I've got some great antibiotics and am feeling much better!  I was able to finish up a prototype that I have been working on.  Eirwyn is a white hare and as you can see, a totally out of the box design for me.  She is one of a kind and available on my website.

Cheryl,
Try Bear Pile too, www.bearpile.com.  Work on developing a mailing list and keep plugging away like the rest of us.

020.JPG015.JPGI am posting Diana's pics for her.  She emailed them to me as she did not know how to post.  Diana, just scroll down and it says, upload photos.  Click browse, find them photos on your computer and double click.  When you hit submit, they will appear in your post.  He's a really cute teddy so I can see why you want to make him a new arm.

Hugs,
Alison
