I don't think this was already posted, but forgive me if it was, I'm just excited to share
I just returned home yesterday from an unbelievable and hot family vacation to Arizona & Nevada. Who in their right mind visits the desert in August lol
!!!! It was a long flight from the Canadian East Coast to almost the US west coast , but so worth it. We visited Las Vegas and the Grand Canyon areas. Vegas is an "interesting" place , too loud and busy for me but fun to have seen. However, I must say the Grand Canyon is so beautiful and surreal , there are no words to describe it !
I also had the wonderful opportunity to arrange to meet some bear artists for lunch in a gorgeous town called Sedona, Az. These sweet ladies drove from the Pheonix are to get together with me, and I am so blessed to have met them. What great ladies and talented artists. It's always nice to see artists and their bears in person
Here we are enjoying lunch on a HOT Arizona day, last Saturday Aug. 21 .
Left to right : Joanne Livingston ( Desert Mountain Bears), Me (Tammy- Beckoning Bears) , Janice Woodard ( Booh Bears) , Alison McKee ( ETeddys)

Welcome Back Cyndee !!!! It is so nice to see you here again. Take care
Congratulations on both placings Susan. You must be excited.

Absolutely stunning Karen ! It looks real, and must have taken forever to do the coloring.
OMGosh he is so sweet. Love the ears
He is so adorable for only your 5th bear ! Great job on his expression, he looks so soulful. I really like the shape of his head too .

Please meet 8" Petunia who is available on my website. She is made from 1" sparse matted tipped mohair in a cream color with purple tips. She is 5 way jointed , has glass eyes and ultrasuede paw pads.
I hope you enjoyed meeting her :)
What magical photos. That is probably the best sleep they have both had since separating. What a miracle that they are reunited, and lily is actually producing milk .
Now lets hope June keeps her distance !
Please meet Yin-Yang my newest 7.5" mink bear. He is made from traditional panda colors of recycled, cotton lined black and off white (champagne) mink fur . He's 5 way jointed and has wired arms for posing.

Beautiful as always Melisa. Take care, I hope you feel better soon !
YAAHHHOOOOO !!!! I'm assuming it was a joyful reunion by the excitement in the newsflash
Perfect timing to get some attention for the final push in voting. I can't wait to read the update of how this unfolded. I wonder if Lily will stay this time.
Deb,
I goggled his name and came up with this interesting page. Looks like it is a scam and he goes by several names.

Shannon,
I'd be happy to send you a couple of scrap pieces too. Is there anything else that you would like a sample to try ie screw/locknut joints or anything else I may have . Please email me your address and I will get it in the mail for you asap
What a fabulous trip Ellen. You went right through my backyard and I didn't even know it ! Too bad the weather wasn't better as it is beautiful here, especially the Cabot Trail. Not so much in the fog
Glad you had a good time despite the weather and ferry issues. I remember my one and only ferry trip to Nfld years ago. So many people were sea sick as the water was very rough, and that is a long ferry ride too. However, it must have been beautiful touring on the bikes.
Why oh why is it always so difficult to do something good ! I know paypal has to be cautious , but the few bad apples always ruin it for everyone else who is honest. Drives me absolutely crazy sometimes. Congrats on the raffle and glad to hear you got the funds out in time Alison. I hope they re-open your account soon. How discouraging for you.
Yah, he is a bit of a porker lol ! I hope his new mom stocks the cupboards
.

I hope that is helpful. No matter who your friend decides to use tell her to make sure they line the bears pieces with a cotton/muslin for added strength !
Good luck, Tammy
Please meet 7.5" Ziggy who is now available for adoption. He is made from cotton lined , recycled mink fur in a beautfiful cinnamon/nutmeg color. This bear is absolutely stunning Alison. I got my ticket too
I'm sure they will sell out fast for this worthy cause.
Brenda,
The updates are on Lily's Facebook Page here: http://www.facebook.com/#!/lily.the.black.bear?ref=ts
I know I said I couldn't follow this latest saga, but I can't help myself. Looks like they didn't get her this time. Let's hope the food they just left attracts here and not other bears.
This little cub has us all wrapped around her little paw doesn't she .
