:clap:  What great pictures of the owl, I love to see the animals in the wild, we have red tailed hawks down our way and in the summer we were able to watch the mother convince two young ones to leave the nest.  They come into my yard for the pigeons since I feed the birds, but they don't bother the squirrels. thanx for the photo shoot, love it.

:redface: Boy, I don't even own a cell phone, I live in the fast lane without it.
I do have a copier, scanner, but only use the copy part and print pictures from my card from my camera.  Now if I can only get those pictures on line.   :redface:

my worse of 2007 is not really bad, just getting my house of 14 years in shape to sell, remove all the clutter, paint all the rooms, new carpeting, new doors, the list goes on forever, all the while working full time and hoping the house sells fast so I can retire.
the best is my health and strength, and also a new foster grandson, for my son and daughter in law that have not been able to have children.  they are both 40 so this new baby is a miracle for them.

:pray:  What a tragedy this could have been without the alarm.  I am so glad that you had that alarm, I have one also.  You read every day about this happening to people and I am overjoyed that you are here to tell about it.  Let this be a warning to all to get one of these inexspensive alarms, it does save lives.

I just want to thank all of you that sent me cards, I have the names at home and I am at work now, but you know who you are.  The thought was wonderful and to all who made your own cards that is just great. I in turn hope all I sent received them. I wanted to send more but the time got away with me. There is always next year and since I am new at this I will plan something special. I too am selling my house and moving to a new location so things are packed, in storage, and house is in perfect order for people to view.  Hope it sells quick so I can retire from this job and make bears!

I have received my ornament on the 24th , thanx to Cheryl from Bruinwerks,
and what a great little bear he is, I will post asap, but I love him.
I was wondering what happened to my partner as I sent my ornament and I know it was rec'd as I sent it UPS and tracked it.  I guess my partner did not know what to think of such a BIG ornament.  lol, as mine was larger than most. I will wait and see if it ever gets on the tree.
but my thanx goes to Cheryl as it arrived in the Nick of time like most xmas items.

Daphne, I am like you, I have not rec'd my ornament either, where can it be? I am at the mail box every day but no surprise for me.  Did someone send me an ornament??  Maybe when I get home today.  Then I still have to figure out how to get the picture on the computer :crackup:  :crackup:  :crackup: I need some kind of miracle here.

congrats on the new baby, Dinda is so cute, I love to watch the animal shows on tv and they do some on that kind of orangutangs  but I love to see all the different ones.  I do watch animal planet and discovery channel quite a bit, I will check out the adoption website

    Patty, congrats on becoming a new grandma, it is fun. I have 5 grandchildren, all grown to my amazement, where did the time go, I do have a new grandson that my son and his wife are currently fostering.  My daughter in law could not have children, so here they are at 40 now fostering a child from her brother and some girlfriend.  It was a joy to get a Christmas card with the baby, his name is Justin, with Santa Claus, my son and his wife are thrilled. So enjoy that grandparenting because before you know it he'll be in school!!!lol

still did not get my ornament, and I tried to  upload the disc that came with my camera with no avail.  So as soon as the ornament gets here, I have to get in on there . thanx for all the help and I am ready as soon as that darn computer is ready.
