It is amazing that you can turn a plain colored lion (or bear) into such a gorgeous one!! Just awesome!!!!!
CONGRATULATIONS GRANDMA!!!!!!!!!! and of course Mom & Dad!!!!!!
Jenny, reading this post was just like having the baby myself.......I couldn't read through it fast enough to find out the final result!!!
I am sorry to hear that Mom had so much trouble at the end but at least it is over and she will be better soon.
Judi, they are wonderful!!!! You have done so many really wonderful pieces but I think that these two are my favorite of all. The farmer bear has such a kind loving look on his face and his little lamb just couldn't be any cuter!!! Absolutely adorable!!!!!
Chrissie, It is nice that you are home again. Wow! it is hard to imagine the devastation in your area. It is going to take a long time for everyone to get back to normal. Thanks for all of the imformation you have given us, it would be aweful to be without power for that long let alone all of the rest of it.
Anne, they are absolutely adorable!!!!! I am sure that the couple who receives them will be thrilled.
Julia, she is adorable! I am sure that your friend will be thrilled when she opens up that pretty little box and sees her inside. I also love your new avatar, she is just a cute as she can be!
Heather, she is adorable!!!!!
I have tried oil paints as well and Iam also really pleased with the results! Thanks so much, Shelli for another great idea!!!!!!
More great news!!! Congratulations to your daughter & son-in-law, Eileen and also to you because a wedding is a whole family event!!!! Bears on the cake would be adorable!
Oh, Heather, How nice!!!!!!!! Congratulations to you both!!!!!! What a romantic and thoughtful guy, your Tony is. That night will be such a sweet memory for the rest of your life.
She is gorgeous, Kathy! You have done a wonderful job! Working with real fur is much harder than working with anything else, she has such a cute expression. I always use lock nuts and bolts on real fur as well because you can get them just as tight as you want to.
Dilu. they are adorable!!! I love his hair standing straight up, it reminds me of mine sometimes
What a face!!! She is adorable!!! I love your little bunny
Anne, she sounds awesome! If it is a commission, what do you think the new owner would like? If they just want to look at and display her, just making the tail would be by far the easiest and you could use spectaular fabric but if they like lots of detail and would really love the fact that she isn't just a regular mermaid bear and even has legs, then the tail would have to be sturdy enough to be taken off & on a number of times. Please be sure to post pictures when she is done.
What a sweet face she has! and of course, her clothes are magnificant!! Fran, you do such a great job!
Wow! There are so many very interesting places and what great views some of you have! Kathy that looks like an awesome place to go hiking!
Janet, I want to come too!!..... but not in the winter, I get to see more snow than I want to
but your place is gorgeous, I can almost smell the pine and hear the birds :)
Sandy, I love your palace!!!! I can't wait for the Teddy Talk convention!!!
I can come and push a broom around for a couple of weeks or so, I will be there just as soon as the temperature falls to 30 below!
I have started using polymer clay for noses also on the fur bears and I am really pleased with them.
Terrie,
When our swap bears are ready please do not be suprised if you have a huge box arrive on your doorstep - I will be inside with the new bear![]()
Anne
Anne, That would be great!!! I would love that!!
Kim, you are getting a very nice collection of cute little bears!
Julia, gorgeous pictures! You are lucky to live so close to the ocean. The coast is my favorite place to go but we are about 16 hours away from the west coast so we don't get there as often as I would like to.
Our home is on 3 & 3/4 acres just out of Edmonton. We have the best of both worlds, the peace & quiet of country living and we are only 2 miles out of the city.
This is so much fun! It is so interesting to see all of the different homes.
Dilu, speaking of different.....what a cool home you have and what a gorgeous place!
Fran, your house looks very inviting and interesting. I can't believe that it is that old.
Penny, I love your house and I can't wait to see it in color!
Estelle, I love your waterfront area!
Laura-Lynn, your Christmas lights are gorgeous!
Denise, your gardens are beautiful and the pool looks so inviting!!!!!
Judi, do you remember the show Petticoat Junction? You look just like Bobbi-Jo, except she had dark hair
Amazing! Your work is fabulous, Kim! He is an incredible toad!
Julia, Your bear is incredible as well! I love the shape of him.
Matilda, I really like your big bear. She is not only huge, she has tons of personality. I love her skinny nose as well as her haircut, it gives her a look all of her own.
Amanda, he is adorable!! I think that his nose is perfect!
Jenny, I love your bunny!!!! I love his shape! I love the way he stands and looks at you! and I love his face! His face is incredible!
Yep, I can see more bunnies coming from you.
