I just visualize where I want the white to start on the body and cut my body pattern part in half (I have a separate pattern for that). I also make the ears black and I can't remember what else (been a while since I made a panda)... I don't do eye patches, I just shade
I think I am all named out, Jodi LOL....
I have FINALLY weighted my first needle-felted bear! I actually think she got in the Valentine's Day chocolates and put on a few ounces
Wow, picky customer LOL.... I had one like that, wonder if it is the same person? LOL.... Glad all is resolved!
Hi again! I wasnt sure if you were still creating, Rita! Glad to see you are still at it (and this bear is lovely! )
worst thing is sewing up stuffing holes! I HATE IT! ARRGH! if i could train my husband to sew, I would be all set HA HA
I love every other part, my favorite part is making the faces though
yes, an Irish blessing would be nice... who am I kidding ANY blessing would be nice!
I've sent you some names, Jodi!

Patrick O'Houlihan.... Patty McTee......
Is there still time to enter?
Some women (and men, not leaving them out LOL) can be SOOOO catty! I would just say focus on yourself and if they are artists as well, they will spend more time talking and being nasty while you are doing what you love.... it will all come back around to them (it always does... Karma is a biotch!) LOL
Some people just are nasty, like bullies in school, they try to burn out your candle to make theirs glow brighter but if others see the way they were acting and they are a bear artist, chances are, their sales will go down... I have already bought an artist's bear and when I realize what they are REALLY like, I won't buy anymore or if I find out how an artist is BEFORE I buy their bear, I wont buy it (a lot of my collectors tell me that some artists that they have bought from are nasty or rude or think they are high and mighty)... their is really something to being genuine and nice and people and collectors can see that....
WOW!
She is beautiful and you are so very very talented!!!
AWWW Thanks, Tracy!!!!
I just finished Jellybean a few minutes ago! Here he is finished!
I love the new pic of yourself. You are so attractive
Awww.. thanks
I don't know anything about cats (I am allergic to them LOL)... but most humane societies will fix your pet for a cheaper rate than a normal vet...
AWW thanks, girls!!! Like I said, I use to make jewelry with fimo clay in high school (in art class) and loved every minute of it! Wish I still had some around to show you gals... it is long gone to new homes (it has almost been 10 years since I graduated)... I am just revisiting something I learned in the past and hopefully this will be the nudge I need to get higher prices and more bids! YAY! .... I spent all day playing with clay, baking and glazing! he he he... I feel like a little kid with silly putty or play doh! HA HA
Ok, ok, I'm spilling the beans.. I am combining two of my favorite things, bears and fimo/sculpy clay. In high school, I use to make fimo clay bead jewelry and now I am combining that love into my bears!
Schnoozlebee Bears are bears with big noses made of either fimo or sculpy clay and they will either be "tye-dye" or sparkly or have some other kind of artsy touch to them. I am posting a pic of my first Schoozlebee - he (I really think it is a he, even though he is pink (do you gals think it is a boy or girl?) Any who, he has a bright pink nose that I added lots of orange glitter to and lacquered - hard to see the sparkles but believe me, it is sparkly!
The other picture is noses that I completed today and which will one day be on a Kim-Bee Schnoozlebee! (FYI... these bears will really be coloful!)
They kind of look like jelly beans but believe me, they aren't... hey, I think i just thought of a name for my new little guy, Jellybean!! HA HA!
Huh... that is strange, I dont know that is going on...
ahh ahh ahh... patience my dears, patience! LOL I promise not to make you wait too long LOL
I am not trying to be nasty and I am not taking sides here but these are the kind of posts that make people NOT want to be on TT... this is suppose to be a friendly bear forum and while it is ok to get off topic and talk about things unrelated to bears, thre are some topics that are really controversial and really can cause people to get hurt feelings....
I have stayed away from TT before for posts which have made me personally uncomfortable and when people get upset from what others say. I was going to just sit back and ignore this topic because I can tell that people are already getting hurt feelings but I felt I had to say something....
img upload works great... you just click it and it will ask you to search for a picture on your computer, when you select the picture, then it will say "paste into text" or something like that... then you click that and it will show up as a code and the picture will be in the post after you select "submit"
LOL girls, you crack me up... I have to finish the first one yet LOL... he he he...
woops, sorry bout that.... I guess mine might come up different because I have a store LOL
FYI.. when I click on your ebay link in the FOR SALE section, your bear comes up....
Here is the info I found.....
