:redface: since July 2003 but you could hardly call it a bear poor thing. I had no idea made it all up out my head what a monster ( he is my hidden scret bear) I keep hom hidden under all my fabric for luck. :redface:
I use both depnding on what I am aiming at, but I do tend to favour two piece bodies it seams to be what I end up with

well here are my next two mohair bears I guess im hooked now but it will be a long time untill I get to the high standard of bears show on here.
Sigget is the lighter grey bear, and Parking is the dark rust bear. They both came from the same piece but I died parkin after I had made up his skin before stuffing. ( the colours in the bottom picture are correct)

I think they were looking for a computer program but thanks for the tip about north country bears I didnt know them so I took a look very interesting site. :clap:

I do the same as Heather I place the body so the tummy seams are touching over a chosen colour and work out from there :dance:
can anyone in the UK help I need a new supplier of clear safety eyes I can get the coloured ones but I prefer to colur them myself. I get asked a lot to make bears with safety eyes and now I cant find any anywhere. They need to be in the UK so I can pay by cheque. can anyone help please :pray: :pray: :pray:

thanks Kate, I moved north a year ago from near Lymington on the south coast. last year we had a white Christmas. The boat is very snug and although the canal is frozen the water under the hull insulates us and when we put the heating on its very warm. We are high up in the pennines so the beuatifu scenery when it snows makes up for the low temporatures. :dance: :dance:

No she was on her own with her dog, had taken the boat out over the Christmas holiday as we had a sunny window in the weather and got cought when the ice returned, she is trying to get back to her home birth before it gets too thick.
the bears and I were woken this morning by the sound of breaking ice outside the boat, I grabbed the camera and this is what I saw


I had never heard of her so I had to find out more, I searched for her site and now I can see why her bears and dogs fetch such high prices they are truly amazing, take a look
