As my trolley is always full to the top I get asked if I need help packing and I usually say no as I always have my children with me and my eldest help unload the trolley and pack the shopping and they know not to squash the bread or bruise the bananas and pack the heavy things together and put them at the bottom of the trolley so the lighter stuff gets put on the top.If hubby comes though thats a different story-men always have to be reminded each and every time how to pack as they seem to forget by the next time you go shopping. :doh:
The only pet hate is I get two newspapers on a Saturday- one for us and one for our 95 year old neighbours and every week they say to me "do you know you have two newspapers" aaaahhhh.

I finally have had the courage to put a photo of me  under my avatar.I thought it was about time as a lot of people have their photos and it is nice to see who you are talking to.There aren't many photos of me as I always hide when the camera comes out and I hope I don't give you all nightmares but this photo is the best I could do.

I'm with you on this one Shantell-I don't mind spiders too much but snakes give me the creeps.I don't watch programmes on them especially before I go to bed or I end up dreaming that they are out to get me. We only have two in this country- the adder which is poisonous and the grass snake and they are enough for me.

Hubby can be very caring and considerate but I did have to train him to be that way
I do choose my own presents like you do Ellen as the last xmas present he chose for me was an electric toothbrush and as I had spent the last year going to the dentist on numerous occasions with fillings falling out and abcesses etc I think even though he was trying to be thoughtful I don't think that was the type of present I wanted.Nowadays I just say this is what I am having for xmas etc even if it is a bit pricey and I must say I have been happy with my presents xmas morning ever since

I don't know if it is really anything to do with age or it is because us poor women have so much to do and we find that as soon as we start one thing another catches our eye and we are still thinking about the next ten jobs and we end up so far ahead of ourselves that we forgot what we originally planned to do.I find it worse when I am creating a new bear as I am trying to think about what sort of bear ,what colour etc etc and find myself wandering about not even knowing what I am wandering about for!
Hang on a minute I have just got to unload the washing machine that finished six hours ago-I'll be back in a minute :crackup:

I agree with Jenny and Ellen on this as I like to do what I want and when I want.I hate feeling pressurised into making something that I haven't chosen to make myself and as bears come out with their own little characters you never know whether they will be liked when you make them up specially.I have only done the odd commission for a few friends and have just finished a panda for a niece for some one which I thought I would get stuck into so I could finish it and get on with my own ideas.The only thing is she liked the panda so much she kept it for herself and wants me to do another one!!!Luckily though she gives me plenty of time and always says that there is no rush so at least I don't feel so trapped into doing it and can fit it in around my other work.I definately would not want to do too many though as it takes the fun out of making bears if you can't choose yourself what you want to make.
I could never agree to making limited additions of three etc as it would drive me mad trying to make them all the same and I wouldn't want to because it would be too boring.

I too love the Oz Matilda bears-if I had the cash I too would bid on him.Even if I had bought him and he was too big there would be a place that I would fit him in thats for sure.
