I am in love for that cub too, Kim! He looks like Lily's cub Hope, if you follow their life on their den cam.
This new pattern is brilliant! I love him without claws but that is just because I have never been very attracted by teddy bears with teeth and or claws. You are for nothing in that, hehehehehehehe.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hi Vicky!
I think Kyle looks great for a first bear! My own first bear was far to be as good...
If these are cotter pin joints you used, to tighten them you can use first the cotter pin key and finnish with strong forceps. I have to admit it requires some strenghth!
Alternatively, you can use locknut and bolt joints : with such joints, you can tighten them the way you want even if the fur is thick.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Dear Peter,
Thanks a lot for sharing these beautiful photos of Gracie and her new firends enjoying themselves!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Tyler, your Poseidon is beautiful! I love the way the mohair is dyed, and his nose is great!
I love the way you made the garments too.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Hi Gaby!
Nice to see you back around!
What is VA????? Sorry, but I cannot decipher all codes, as I am French and know nothing about this codification!
I look forward to have you back into making new bears.
I hope your surgery will be successful and that you will recover quickly.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I can say that I do not happen to stab me too often. Maybe because I am sewing slowly. But I happen to do it from time to time as I do not use timbles...
I have to confess one of my thumb fingers does not like the needle I use with leather, as the tip of the needle often ends in it (better be there than in the flesh).
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I keep checking on Lily and Hope almost everyday.
Here are a few screen capture :
I am so glad they changed the micro to put a more sensitive one. Now we can hear them so well!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I am surprised so many of you keep loosing bear parts. Maybe that is because you make more bears together.
What about puting all the parts of one bear in a box or bag while waiting to use them?
I do not remember I ever lost any bear part. Now I am not working at bear making as a mad woman...
Plus my cat never tried to steal any bear part. I just have to be careful when using leather, as she loves playing with leather bits.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Oh, Cyndee, you got a wonderful ornament! This little Jack in the box looks beautiful! I love his outfit.
For sure you well deserved it! I think we are many people who enjoy reading you....
I do agree that TT community is absolutely fantastic and I am so glad I made such amazing friends among you.
I just could not imagine my life without TT.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
What a gorgeous bear!!!!!!
I love the way you combined the two mohairs. I love the buttons on his tummy.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Thank you very much for sharing all these photos!
So many great bears and these looks like a great place where to find lovely fabrics too.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
When I saw his photo I had to see him better.... He looks sooooo cuddly and cute.
Honnestly, I thought he was much bigger.
Well done!
I think you should try to make bears from a similar pattern in a, bigger size for bigger hugs... Just my two cents.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Thank you very much for your great photo report, Jane!
I have to say I am glad I did not visit the show because I would have become mad seing all these beautiful bears!
How could I manage to exit such a show without a bag full of bears??? That would mean spending money I do not have, so you see my problem!!!!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
PS : I really hope I will be able to try Hugglets some year... in the future. At least as a visitor.
Have a great time at your workshop! Do not forget your camera so you can share with us!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
I really love his cheerful and sweet face!
Just the bear I would love to play with. Oh, right, I am an adult!

Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Oh, Susan, what a big order!
I hope you will have a good time making all these bears!
I am very happy for you.
If you enjoy playing with colours, you will be able to have a great fun!
Be careful with the wine or your bears will end up having three eyes instead of two!
Do not forget to take photos of all of them!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
As soon as I saw them I said myself they are absolutely adorable.
I would not add anything to cover them or just maybe a beautiful ribbon or necklace around the neck or a ear.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
This bear is great! I just cannot believe this bear is "new"!
So tell Darren to stop hiding and to smile! He is a champion!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
Thanks, girls!
I already had her website address and email but I am surprised she did not answer to my email for my enquiry about handpainted eyes.
But if she still runs her business, I should just wait and be patient!
Beary hugs,
Sophie.

This dragon looks fantastic!
I am glad I can admire your dragon as I have one to make and still search ideas on how to design its pattern.
All I know is that I will more likely make a three-part body... Can be a start point!
Your dragon will be inspiring for me.
Beary hugs,
Sophie.
