He's a wee cutie, love his little paws.He reminds me of a family pet we once had called Marmalade.
Remember the saying 'success teaches you nothing' and you have by your description got lots to thank this little guy for, you'll look back at him and he'll always make you smile  bear_original .
Every bear I make illustrates something that's gone wrong, like wonky footpads, too big nose or lopsided face etc. but I make sure I don't make the same mistake next time so that's progress I guess.
I think the minis are the most difficult to master & your little puss is cute and unique.

bear_thumb I think his nose is great, suits the shape of his muzzle.
His lovely wispy hair is very striking so "Cirrus"meaning feathery cloud would be an appropriate name bear_original .

bear_grin Thanks Caroline, maybe it's because he was designed "down under" in Tasmania by Linda of Benson Bears.
The photo looks right way up on my Ipad so not sure what went wrong bear_wacko .I've asked the techi people for advice.

Very sweet  bear_wub  bear_wub .

Fab  bear_wub .
Snap!I just finished my first panda too.Isn't the sewing black fabric with black thread really eye straining?  bear_wacko

This is "Takeo"meaning hero,my first panda. He is the 6th bear I've made so with this limited experience he was a challenge with 'new to me' techniques such as armatures, leather nose, open mouth and those wonderful paws that the artist is renowned for.
The pattern is very well written and easy to follow, designed by Linda Benson of 'Bears in the Bush' in Tasmania. This gracious lady gave generously of her advice and support which encouraged me to complete this advanced for me project.I know he's not perfect but I'm pleased with how he turned out.Hope you like him  bear_original .

Super cute,every single one  bear_wub  bear_wub  bear_wub .

I think he's great, lovely feet and such a sweet expression and I bet he feels silky soft.
I have only made 6 bears so far in mohair and alpaca and I struggle with scissor sculpting but I found this video link on Ebearz helpful http://www.ebearz.com/Agora/tiki-downlo … p?fileId=8
Symmetry is my problem but I find a small eyebrow razor useful to skim the ends with for a smoother finish and it is easier to control the amount removed.
I have my late mother-in-law's mink jacket but I need loads more bear making experience before I would be confident enough to cut it up.
Remember the saying " success teaches you nothing"!
Well done you  bear_thumb .

Sweet little pair.
I love their black muzzles and the red ribbon accessorises them beautifully. bear_wub
